Loose Deuce: Recruiting those who want to fly the Spit 9s, learn squad tactics

Midway, you gotta belong to a squad before you can complain like a squad. Until then you're just borrowing Yarbles thread of many a moon ago. And frankly, you haven't earned Yarbles street cred either. So back on Bruv's ankel for you.

Interesting.  :)  Haven't seen Yarbles' thread.   :headscratch: So you're saying others have come to the same conclusion independently?   :noid

I never heard that before. Why would you want to pressurize a fighter? Even cargo airplanes that fly around combat don't get pressurized. You realize what is going to happen you a single bullet hits the cockpit?

Explosive decompression is generally a myth. Even rapid decompression is unlikely devoid of a major tear in the aircraft's skin. You could shoot a dozen 9mm holes in the fuselage of a 757, and aside from the whistle, you'd notice little to no change in pressure inside the aircraft. Why? Because a 757 has a normal leak area of better than one half of a square foot (total area of all leaks), excluding the design leak rate of the outflow valve. There is plenty of bleed air volume off of the engines (and APU if needed) to maintain cabin pressure. It takes a very large hole to cause cabin pressure to drop enough to require O2 for the passengers and crew.

we will go back to topic:

Loose Deuce is manning a Spit 9 squad during the upcoming scenario: Enemy Coast Ahead

Boo is recruiting for his FL Job at this Scenario, nothing else, so please stay on topic here

Thanks

The Few are also manning a squad in the event.

If it was up to me I would devise some evil  system by which LD and The Few could have squad rivalry and COMPETE  and let all our monster ego's out to play  :t Hammer out some system of score and then let rip in the resulting orgy of you know what. Perhaps there was squad rivalry in the RAF anyway.

Being of a sound mind whatever the outcome given this is only a game I would find the process both fun engaging and probably hilarious at various points. However I am sure both Dhryan and Bruv will have extreemly good reasons why this is not a good idea  .

Please LD etc accept my views are not the official views of the Few  :pray. (Terms and conditions apply, normal statutory rights are not affected and no purchase necessary  :D)

Suggested rules would be kills divided by deaths for both squads at the end of the scenario losing participants have to display "I love Midway, he is my God" in their signiature for a month.

Holy Cow Yarbles, Vegas style...all in on this one. To quote Kennedy, 'sometimes partisanship asks too much!' haha As for the ankle humper, I thought he was sortof the unofficial mascot of The Few?

As a sign of good faith, I'm up for the challenge. If there is a price to pay, I'll pay the price.

Boo

That's the spirit  :aok

My only concern is it might damage the integrity of the scenario though I don't see why  :old:

Midway is his own man. I can see why he adhores Bruv with his 2 x TOC and winner of the last Tri Annual plus top in everything on a regular basis. I think he also knows banging on about it winds other people up which is the other thing I think Midway lives for  :old:

Anyway
