Again, you don't read and comprehend so well do you. Remember the part where I said I have been here over 10 years strait, with thousands and thousands of hours in the game? I think that is a much wider sampling and can easily be used to come to a conclusion. Also remember that human nature abounds outside of this game and with over 50 years experience at real life I can also use that to help me come to these conclusions.

I see hundreds of people who have been playing this game for months and years even, every week who STILL don't understand how to dogfight, how to dive bomb WITHOUT augering their plane. I'm am VERY sure that the majority of the people who are voting haven't a clue about each of the planes on the list.

This is true.

I see guys who have been flying since 1994 and they are still making the same mistakes 15 times a day that they were making in 1994.

So, do we really need a second jet to serve your personal tastes?
I never voted for it
I don't think and never argued it was for my personal taste
Everyone who votes is almost surely doing it thru "Selfish" personal taste
Everyone's vote is equal IE their taste is no more or less important than yours - this one sinks your question/argument on its own
And the Meteor would IMO be a more fair jet to have than the 262.  The 262 gets clobbered if it's caught slow.  Ask any seasoned jug or 38 or 51 or 152 (etc) pilot.  The Meteor is even slower.  And it's a jet, not a prop with props' low end acceleration.  I mean other than the historian's cringe at how much of an "aberration" it is, there's not much reason to not want the Meteor.  It was in the war.  It wouldn't unbalance the arena any more than the 262 does.  It'd be fun for many people. That's pretty much all it takes.

I think I am an exception. Despite my wanting the Beau more than anything in the poll, I voted for the Ki-43 in the first round.

From how close it was..... your vote may have been the factor of the beau not making it. :D

Buster,

I think that I would have enjoyed the Meteor, and will welcome any new addition as well, but I too chose the Ki43 in my first round voting, feeling it would both round out Japanese "fighters" and be the most used of the choices.  I think the Me410 and Beaufighter maybe would be close or arguably better utilized in game, who knows.  The Yak3 does interest me as well, for matters of besting performance (depending on which variant was modeled).  I am just a bit too slopy a gunner to have such few seconds of cannons.

The Beau did make it, so his vote was factually not the factor.
