B-25J Mitchell
« on: December 15, 2011, 06:08:01 PM »
Posted a thread about this a month or two ago. Thought I'd revise the thread.

Anyways, over 4,000 B-25Js were built during the course of the war. It has a great combat record and it has a tail gunner unlike it's sister the B-25C.  I really do think the B-25J will be used a lot in the Main Arenas possibly as much as the B-26. I for one would use it a lot. :)

Thanks for your consideration,

Warthog

NOTE: I am wishing for the Glass nose and the strafer version of the B-25J.

I would love to see this, B-25C having no tail gun really doesn't interest me, and B-25H doesn't have a formation option due to the 75mm (attack version).

Surprised we didn't get the B25J.

I love my B25C but the lack of tail guns really bites me in the butt a lot of times.  :D The 25J would be tons-o-fun.

I bet the B25J has been on the to-do list for a while though - but do we need more American bombers?  :headscratch:

My usual answer would be "no, we do not" - but in this case, a bombsight + tail-gunner version would transform the 25 (not H) from an almost hangar queen into a much more usable medium bomber. So no objections by me ;)

It could possibly be added when the B-26 has a graphical update, I'm no graphics designer and I'm not sure if they could use the B-25C/H for a reference for the B-25J.

I get my He-111, you get your B-25J.  It's win/win!  Especially for me since both are bombers. :x

Wow I find it hard to believe it has been almost 38 days since our last path. We should have release another 38 versions by now  :bhead

Best possible scenario, and been hoping for it for a while. B-25J, Beaufighter, and He-111 in one release. However I don't think it will happen because no release will ever be as awesome.

B-25J would be a good addition, in my opinion.
