I would like to see an Advanced Tie Fighter added to the game to spend my perks on, here are some spec's

It was in production and flew, it comes with 2 lasers, (stolen from 999,000's B-17) its quite fast and seen combat in squadron strength for the empire.

Did not see squadron strength. It is Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1, which was prototype that never saw production, and had only 1 built. It did however lead to the development of the TIE Avenger.

This thread was started as a thinly veiled attempt to stop the madness on some recent requests.

Back on point however,

If you were to get the veritech fights, that is attributed to the Macross, so, should the SDF Macross be brought into the game instead of the Yamato.

FLS, thinking a bit more into it, yes, the Yamato saw service in WWII, any mods that took place afterword...eh (shrugs shoulders).

*snrk*  I'd like to see it added too.  I feel it would bring a lot to the game.

If we are talking spaceships here...

TCS Tiger's Claw CV-07

Quote
The TCS Tiger's Claw was commissioned in 2644. The first of the Bengal class carriers, the ship was ten meters longer than subsequent Bengals – the design was streamlined and improved upon for later ships.

“The Claw”, as she was affectionately called by her crew, was home to many of the most famous pilots of the Kilrathi War. Christopher "Maverick" Blair, Todd "Maniac" Marshall, and Michael "Iceman" Casey all served with distinction aboard the carrier in 2655. Senator Taggart even served on her immediately before his retirement from the Space Forces. The ship was also home to the infamous; Commodore Geoffrey Tolwyn commanded the vessel in 2654, before being promoted to Admiral.

The end of the Tiger's Claw's service came in 2656, when it was ambushed by Kilrathi cloaking fighters while en-route to the Kilrathi Enigma sector Headquarters at K'tithrak Mang.

well guys you have given me a brain wave here , since you have posted this thread ive been doing some research , it is regarding the bell , which was a german secret weapon , some say adolf hitler took off in it , just after he left the bunker in berlin , it was a flying saucer , that was situated in the black forest , and the launch plaform is still there , it was a highley magnetic circle , which could push a aircraft into another dimension via a wormhole , as soon as i got all the spec on it, ill put all the details here  :salute

Too bad %99.9 of the Japanese have no clue what the real Yamato was, in fact %99.9 have no clue what happened between Dec 7, 1941 and Aug 6-9, 1945.  Seriously.

Was wondering about this.  I read somewhere that the Japanese history books had left out a lot of things that happened in the 1930's and 1940's.  Anyone know where to get an English translation of a Japanese history book?
I recently re-read 'Flags of Our Fathers'.  The movie version was quite different from the book.  Anyway, it got me to thinking about the history thing.

Sorry is off this serious topic.

It's been a while since I served in the Empire and I don't keep up with the Veterans' association like I should, but wasn't the design that branched out of that prototype the 'TIE Advanced'?  Perhaps they changed the designation for it a la the A-10 going from being the Warthog to the Thunderbolt...
