Freshman year in Algebra class.  My best friend Ken would stuff an entire sheet of paper in his mouth and get it good and slobbery.  Giant spit ball basically.  Then when Mr. Graves would be at the chalk board with his back to the class, Ken would throw it at the chalk board.  Mr Graves of course would turn around pissed.  Ken was a master at looking innocent.  He sat a few desks behind this other kid who was generally disliked.  Ken would make a very subtle gesture to indicate that this other kids was the guilty party.  Mr Graves sent that poor kid to the office a half dozen times that semester.  Kid never figured out why he always got singled out.  To his credit, he never was a narc and ratted Ken out.

I was a pretty good kid in High School.  National Honor Society, 7th in a class of 230, etc etc...  All of the good stories involving me started when I went to college.  Things like rapelling down the side of the dorm building in the middle of the night...  Good times.   :rofl

I'll be the first to admit I've had it easy my whole life.  But in 50 more days of school.  No Longer.  I'll be old enough.  Whatever relatively insignificant point in time when I walk across the stage, take diploma, handshake.  It's all gone.  Time for the Real World.

Hehe...  Well, take it from me...  Go to college and you won't be in the real world yet.  Just don't get too out of control.  I know guys who should have been brilliant in college, but they washed out because they let the alcohol and parties take over and they forgot why they were in college.

Oh I am well aware that College isn't the real world I have a lot more hand holding left in store for me.  Cant wait.  Was speaking generally.

But you know what is funny in a sick and twisted way?  As I said before I wouldn't believe how fast time flies by etcetera...  I can't believe that I would get involved in drinking and partying and toejam to a point that would effect me.  Can not believe it.  But hell up until a few months ago I didn't think High School would end.  I hope I don't frack myself over.

I only know one thing for sure.  I am 18 and I am motherfracking invincible.

That first real taste of freedom is what you have to be careful of when you go to college.  The trick is coming up with a good way to remind yourself of what your goals are and why you are at school.  Something you'll see every day that reminds you of what you really want in life and that those four years of college are the stepping stones to get there.

It's the guys who forget that and give in to the moment that lose their way...

8th grade, me and 5 buddies sitting in the back of the class on opposite sides. Our desks were always filled with trash and paper. Our teacher was so spaced out and had zero clue. Everytime she turned to the board, half the class would throw crap at each other. I threw paper, paper airplanes, pencils, books, a handball we found in a desk, food kids would bring in, and a half eaten pop tart.

Eventually, the inevitable happened. I threw the half eat pop tart at a buddy across the room, he karate chops it midair, the pop tart flies across the room and smack the teacher in the back of the head.  :devil

Parents were called, detentions was given, laughter was had, and one of the best middle school memories.
I got too much high school stories to tell but I was a good kid. Arista, scholars, B- and A. 85-95 mostly. Math and Chemistry/Physics tore my grade books apart while art, English and history kept it in place.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Senior Year of High School with about a week to go until graduation I flushed 2 cherry bombs with waterproof wicks in 2 urinals.   To make it funnier, someone was dropping a deuce in the far stall.    The urinals came off of the wall and water was everywhere.

Yea it does, but you gotta do it. I think it really is stupid but the only way its gonna change is if people, and more importantly parents step in. Ohh yea, the knife, you shoulda finished that skater kid, I wear my regular fit jeans and a belt holds 'em a decent way up on my waste and I'm proud of it.

Short and simple school is getting worse and worse. My school bans hugging, doing so will result in 2 days of out of school suspension. Yet I bring a pocket knife to school, swing it around at some boy who has tighter jeans then my sister and I don't even get the angry eye by the teachers.

In fact the only person in my school that isn't a student who makes sense, is my bloody language arts teacher. He's a retired army dude with tattoos all over his body and he's the only intelligent person around. Now I consider that just sad. Every other adult either was lonely as a child or ate paint chips as a kid, and grew up with the mindset that if you loose your V-Card before age 18 your worthless.

I hate school, the only nice thing is that "nice" girls go their to make me feel happy.(very happy)

School bans friendship-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gFP_kprL6I

Now what do you think?(this is your time to make jokes about me since this is a school topic, they better be funny)

Lose the knife, they're handy when you're outside in the middle of nowhere or when you need to open a box or a DVD case.  But, if you're in school and you're in any situation that your mouth or your feet can't get you out of you need to re-evaluate your priorities.

PDA is neat and all and lots of fun but you really should be in school to learn.  If you aren't learning from your teachers, get used to it. That crap doesn't change in college at all.  Read books, lots of them. Do math problems for fun, get into the higher and harder sciences and learn their basics now, even if you have to teach yourself.  Work and perfect your english and grammar skills, they'll net you more profit than kissing the pretty girl ever will.  Don't just read history, be passionate about it, and understand it.  Your history books don't even cover 1/10th of the story they gloss over.
Love your library, and not the computers the nerds use to watch porn while bypassing the laughable security schools put on them, get into the books.

I say this not to turn you into a nerd or anti-social geek.  Academics are important, being able to teach yourself is very important.  But most important of all is getting a damn good GPA and keeping it now, so that when you do go to college you get a lovely fat scholarship, a head-start where everyone else is flailing, and you don't start out your life 40,000 dollars in debt with a worthless degree.

If I could do the last decade over.... so many things I would have done different.

As a side note to the knife thing, knee to groin, foot to knee should be about all you need to stop that kind of argument.

I was usually in the advanced classes so nobody really messed with the teachers, since they actually taught us stuff and messing with them in any destructive manner would earn us a transfer into the classes with the dumb disruptive idiot kids.  Fate worse than death.  I played the game pretty straight, although me and my classmates came up with some creative pranks.  Nothing too dangerous and nothing destructive, but some were pretty funny and we tried to make sure the teacher would give us props for creativity even if they had to help us clean up the mess.

My reward for suppressing the urge to throw food in class like a moron was going to one of the most selective colleges in the nation where I got paid to do some really cool things like fly airplanes and shoot guns, becoming a fighter pilot, flying the F-15E for 5 years and getting to fly hot military trainers for another 11 yrs.  Lots of other cool things over the last 22 years, and the cash salary is decent too.  And it only cost me 6 years of paying attention in class, not turning myself into a retard by doing drugs, and not being disrespectful to my classmates or teachers.  Pretty good payoff I think, and it's an outcome that is achieveable by a whole lot of people who choose to act the fool instead, losing out on a lifetime of coolness.

And yea we even listened to the one or two teachers who were clueless, because they knew what was on the test.  So as a class we came up with enough innocent questions to pretty much dig the test contents out of them without actually cheating.  That was more fun than a food fight and detention, with the added bonus that we could make jokes about the stupids in the slow class who thought throwing trash in class was fun.  Monkeys and mental midgets think throwing poo is fun...  I decided I wasn't going to be a monkey pretty early on and haven't had any opportunity to regret that decision.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

And BTW, school doesn't "suck"...  Wasting your time in school sucks, and that's a choice the student makes not the fault of the school or teachers.  School is a means to an end, nothing more.  You gotta USE the school since you're going to be stuck there anyhow, and you might as well get something out of it.  If you're happy living a mediocre life doing stuff that anyone can do, then yea be like everyone else and act like an idiot in school instead of spending every second while you're imprisoned in school trying to pry more knowledge out of those brainless teachers.  Let the monkeys have their fun throwing food, while you learn something other than how much weed you can smoke and still remember what room your class is in.

You can spend a bit of effort getting *something* useful out of the time you spend there, or as the commerical says, you can do the other thing.  Like all the other idiots who can't spell and live their life trying to come up with reasons why they don't need an education, talking big about why educated people are somehow missing out on the good things in life, hoping you can pay the rent because you have no idea what happened to your paycheck, and wondering why the geeky kid ended up rich with a hot wife (who is a doctor) and 2500 hrs of fast jet, turbine, and combat time before he was 40.

You WILL sleep in the bed you make, no question about it.  Are you happy with the prospect of working harder than I do for half the payoff, just because it's cool to throw pop tarts in class and justify an active attempt to learn nothing by saying the teacher is clueless and your failure to learn *something* is the fault of the school?  6 years.  6 years of effort for a lifetime of payoff.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I grossed $30k, netted about $22k in 12 days once shooting action shots at a Cal Ripken 12year Old Boys Baseball World Series in Aberdeen one summer a few years ago.  Wish I could get that contract every year.
