teh second pic looks kinda like a bull snake, never seen one that dark though.  I used to have 2 down to 1 now and they will rattle their tail like a rattlesnake.

As long as snakes leave me alone I leave them alone. Now eating your chickens? Thats different. In fact being anywheres around the barn is a death sentence. Thats a snake taking money out of your pocket which means it going to get the ole shovel in the head. Same goes for other critters as well.

While I think killing the snake was a little unnecessary, making this thread just shows all you care about is getting a reaction out of people you know will not like the fact that you killed an animal and then sported in pictures with its dead carcass.  You might be the most starved for attention teenager on the bbs, which is saying a lot.

I don't condone what the guy did to the snake and neither am I a fan of chicken. 
My problem is with a stray Tom cat. 
Too quick for the shovel but was tinkering with a catapult and some ballbearings.  Haven't hit it yet, just the fence.

I dont see why the snake has to die. did he kill you or a family member? Yes, he got 3 your baby chicks, but chickens are replaceable. I'm not a big fan of snakes, but killing a harmless snake is like bullying the smallest kid in school, not cool. I'm with Grizz on this one. deffinitly seems like an attention post....
