and then there's health care .. certified nurse assistant at a long term care facility to start.
It's hard, physical work, 8hrs a day, pays fairly well, and places you apply will train you on the job.
You must have a work ethic .. slackers need not apply.
Most start the day they walk in.
And you get to wear pajamas all day

If you like the work, most places will pay to send you to school .. LPN - RN - and upward.
It can be a very rewarding career.
You can work your way into Nurse Anesthesiologist (*cough* ..70 dollars an hour to *start*, right out of school)
You just gotta wanna.
I spent 2yrs in school to become an LPN, started at a VA long term care facility right after I got my license at 15/hr.
I could have just gone in and applied as a CNA and worked up from there but I did not know that.
