Pilot Wounded yet again.

I've been playing AH for many years and I know we have had changes in the different models that drive game play over the years.  Has anyone noticed an unusual increase in the number of pilot wounds received lately?  I have.  In the last two weeks, every evening in almost every engagement I end up with a pilot wound.  Anyone else seeing this?

 i was just presuming it was bad luck but yes i have been receiving a heck of a lot of pilot wounds too lately.

Just like nature has changes in season, so does AH with its players.

Things like that usually revolve around collective mood/etc.

So in other words you've been in the wrong place at the wrong time?  Or maybe the right time?   :headscratch:

Either way, I doubt anything has changed.  HTC is not in the habit of just tweaking server settings without mentioning something somewhere.

Perhaps people's aim is getting better, and more people are trying to hit the cockpit instead of the middle of the fuselage...

Seems to run in spurts for me.  Some nights it just seems the pilot is the only part of the plane that gets hit.  Other nights I'm wearing titanium chain mail and can withstand 110 face shots.  <shrug>

The best PW is that one where you're laughing at the guy for spraying at 1000 out and you hear that "Ummph!" sound from your pilot.... gahh!! :furious

It seems like I get one 25%+ of my runs... and definitely a lot more from ground ack.

I was chalking it up to flying the zeke more, since you basically spawn on the runway with a pilot wound in that thing.

smoe more like a collection of tiny events that lead up to an arrangement/situation that causes fluctuations in behaviour patterns. Nothing to do with HTC, but everything to do with us.
