Which Top Gear is better

Perfect combination of hosts.

Top Gear would work best if they brough english hosts to the various other countries.

Part of the magic is thier interactions with people not from the country of the show's origin.

It's already the top or one of the top shows worldwide...why do you need more?

Ne of the reason I prefer English version is cause they aren't American and have different perspectives on alot of things than americans do.

Same here, and I agree. Could easily be a factor of public funding versus corporate sponsors. How truly irreverent can you be when you have to keep sponsors happy instead of the public?

Corporate, specifically car, ads on the U.S. version. And a time or two I have seen "brought to you by Ford". You can try to be truly honest and even brutally rude, but you won't keep that money long.

British Top Gear 100x better, couldn't even watch the full American episode after seeing the British one

I like the British version. Richard is a great fall guy and he takes whatever they dish out, smiling.    The humor
always makes me chuckle. One of my favorite episodes was their trek across the Bolivian Andes with European Lorries. It was one part of a test. In the same show, Jeremy drove his Lorry through a brick wall and a brick came through and hit him in the chest.  He never said a word, but that's gotta hurt. The final winner was a Volvo......it was like a Timex........"takes a lickin'............"
