As a marketing professional, it is my opinion that running that ad would be a disservice to the game.
1) It shows no action. There are hundreds of videos to draw from that show what the game looks and feels like. Show some air combat. Show a tank firing rockets. Show 8" guns firing on a field. Anything but static screen shots.
2) 130 "objects" is too sterile of a description. Instead say "Choose from a hundred airplanes to fly and dozens of combat vehicles to drive from the moment you start." (This last point is important to point out compared to games where you have to grind through a tech-tree to get to later aircraft/vehicles. "Jump right into the P51 Mustang, Spitfire Mark Sixteen or Focke-Wolf 190 D and experience realistic air combat. Fly a B17 bomber. Fight in a Panzer or Sherman tank."
3) It should stress the fidelity of the flight model, as THAT is what sets Aces High apart: "Aces High is a challenging online WWII combat environment where you fight against live opponents using a simulator-level flight model in accurately modeled historical aircraft and vehicles. This is no arcade-style game, but a real test of your skills. Do you have what it takes to become a fighter ace? Or an armored vehicle commander? Or a bomber pilot, bombardier or gunner? Rise to the challenge and try Aces High for free today!"
4) More focus on things AH has that others don't, such as in-game comms. "Communicate and coordinate with other Aces High players using built-in voice communications." Then use some in-game radio chatter as an example played over some air combat footage. "109s 3-O'clock high. Tally. Here they come! Check six, white five!"
5) Talk about the "sandbox environment": "Aces High is an open environment full of a world of possibilities. You choose what you fly or drive, where you go and what your mission is. Fly a fighter in a nearby dogfight or take a bomber deep into the heart of enemy territory. It's all up to you." Maybe then dovetail this into the "or join missions and fly along AH veterans".
6) Mention missions and training possibilities as a way to learn for new players "Join organized missions and fly alongside Aces High veterans. Or get with one of the many Aces High trainers who can teach you Air Combat Maneuvering and more!"
In general the idea should be to focus on what sets AH apart from other games, which I feel are the things listed above.
Given more time, I could write a decent script bringing all these ideas together. PM me if you'd like.
