I got it...........

The entire staff must be busting a gut and slapping high fives over the up roar and chatter. The whole thing was a put on. No ad to be posted tomorrow. It does however sound as if some of the "game is dying threads" of late have been noticed. This might come to the surprise of someone at HTC sipping top shelf scotch and counting their monthly receipts. In the immortal words of Samuel Clemmons, "The news of my demise has been greatly exaggerated."
The give away, was the mock discussion about 60 seconds to do an ad, splash screens that even Evelyn Wood couldn't have read that fast, and the the film account of maybe 30 or 40 players in just one single screen width.
Why would they need to advertise?

I wish to answer my own question -- It has been noticed by off hours players and myself that numbers do thin out, which changes the gameplay quite a bit. I do wish for more success in marketing to other time zones. My Aussie buds, for example, seemed to be logging in around the same time as me (off hours - due to night shift eastern US). That is just one example, maybe to complete the satire, the ad should be badly over dubbed in Spanish, German, Japanese and Chinese.
