first time I was in a plane I was a baby...second time I was 40.....
I flew the super decathlon(sp?)
not only did I fly it but I took off... did some High G maneuvers....
flew it like a champ, the guy who took me up was very surprised at how well I flew it...
before we rolled he started to explain all the gauges....I beat him to it and explained them to HIM....

the 2 differences to me...
the rudder peddles were much stiffer...
and G forces very much mess with your body if you are not used to them

where is the puking emotocon.......

I have absolutely NO doubt that Aces High taught me how to fly a plane.(obviously not everything...there is to know...:-)
I will say..... I know I am not supposed to be envious....
but all you that get to and have flown all your life's or do it as a job....
thats the one thing in this world I am envious of.....not even old MOPARS make me envious....could be I owned one for a long time and only flew one plane one time....
but I wish I could have had a life like that.
and for you doubting mustafa's
my 40th Birthday....talking to the guy/kid (who was 22

)who would be bringing me up...
the beast

could have bought this...for IIRC 45G's

I think we were discussing ACM tactics...he... the "guy" grew up flying planes...turned out his dad was a aerobatic instructor

made me feel much better

the parachute made me feel even better then his knowledge

Last pic....me explaining the gauges...

was so excited to go up...I never grabbed the camera for some aerial shots from the wife when she left
