... and you're supposed to pay serious money to do that on a looping mat in an climate controlled room enjoying the landscape provided by the butt of a severely overweight lady in front of you.

You seem to be a lot more experienced in this. The last time I was in a gym I installed a UPS. Is Richard Simmons related to Gene or Jean Simmons?

As I already tried to explain, I don't do gyms. Running in one place is IMO even more stupid than running away from one place, only to return from the other direction. Don't get me wrong, though. Running is a great invention if you're in a hurry. Then again, planning is an even greater invention to prevent getting in a hurry.

To McDonald's ? :)

I eat McDonald's food on average twice per week, but by vehicular transit of the drive through.

Also, since I have twin 5-year-olds, it is my opinion that McDonald's has, on numerous occasions, saved both my life and my sanity (to whatever extent I am deemed to possess that).

But I also eat at the local British Pub (Three Lions) about once per week, the last time being right after frame 4 of the "Southern Conquest" scenario.  Thanks for flying in that.  Popsman and I drank a toast in your honor.  I had a Newcastle.
