my limited experience on the board has taught me that wishes, desires, complaints, and ideas are typically met with 10+ years of the game growing and morphing into what it is today. Believe me, if you think you're covering something that this community hasn't already, well kid, you're just like I was. Wide eyed and bushy tailed ready to make the game BETTER.
Best advice I can give: RESEARCH! More than likely the subject matter you're concerned about has been discussed in the past. Always construct your questions, requests with a grain of salt and DO NOT abuse those who are trying to learn you.
sorry bustr, I'll never forget the stereotypical smack down for running my mouth thinking I was the only one to think of the idea in the history of the game. It was needed and I appreciated the private convo we had on the subject (putting my youngster butt in my place where it belonged)
Cheating is a taboo subject on the BBS and in game because I believe the boys (HTC) are aware of the potential exploits, but cannot address them without significantly changing the game mechanics. The result is, they are VERY aware of the avenues nefarious players may take and through player observations, deal with them swiftly and with extreme prejudice.
