The dawn and dusk are more troublesome for me than night, so I usually log off when the sun starts setting.

Save night time for Christmas Eve and scenarios, please.

I don't think we actually have a "night time". We have "dusk", that lasts what about 15 minutes real time in which it goes from day into night. Then it jumps to "dawn" which is like another 15 minutes going from night to day. I skips right over "night time" that is why you see the sun jump from going down in the west to coming up in the east. If we had "night time" you wouldn't see that jump just like you dont see it in the day.

So for those of you that don't like the night, BOING! Wish granted, we don't have night.  :devil

Personally I don't like it either, just makes it too hard to see for these old eyes.

When that moon is big and bright

It's a supernatural delight

Everybody's dancing in the moonlight

As the stars and moon our linked to the stars and moon in reality the Moon plays its part for light..Wait for the full moon... the Hunters moon was last full moon (Oct 16th).. favored for being out their Killin stuff..

But next full moon is Nov 14. wait for it... a super moon, largest full moon since 1948 , wont be this full again till nov25 2034

And its caller a BEAVER Moon

So watch out for Pipz Lurkin like a merkin..

True but we do not have searchlights that lit up the clouds nor flares, so shadows of the bombers would make an attack possible.

The Germans did fly 109s and 190s at night without any radar equipment. They did have radio guided navigation and assisted-landing equipment though. These "Wilde Sau" units would be directed by ground controllers to areas were RAF bombers were caught in searchlights and attack them. When there was sufficient moon light they would also attack targets of opportunity on their own.

My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

I wish the transition between night and day was a little smoother but over all, I see it as a plus.

Hey sloe..
Check your George Orwell quote in your sig
Heehee..funny
If I catch your inference, the quote references night, but it's talking about reality, not a cartoon game.
