French Health Minister recommends acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you are going to take a pain/fever reducer -- and specifically not anti-inflammatories (including NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, cortisone, etc., claiming that they could aggravate a SARS-CoV-2 infection.
There doesn't seem to be solid evidence for that position yet, but it probably doesn't hurt to take Tylenol instead of ibuprofen.
Acetominophen is not an anti-inflammatory. The idea here is that anti-inflammatories suppress immune response. France has lots of SARS-2 infections, and it claims that it is seeing poorer response when administering NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) but not when administering acetaminophen (which they call "paracetamol" in France).
