Geez, it's a wonder I survived as long as I did... DMF, Nath and AKSWulfe..... I gotta find myself easier opposition. :D

I wasn't aware as to what damage I had inflicted to your Hellcat, I saw a few hits sprites, but it was obvious that the damage wasn't fatal. I dared not try to pursue with the others all trying to get at me. When you didn't reverse, I concentrated on the other two.

Nath is complaining that his energy state wasn't good. Well, neither was mine. I had made a couple of clearing turns prior to going after his F6F. My advantage was that the SpitV accelerates much better than the F6F. So, even if I were at Co-E, or slightly less, I'd run him down fairly soon anyway, unless there's a much greater lateral separation than actually existed.

Anyway, thank you for the missing details and clarification of what happened to "that other F6F".

My best,

Widewing

My original post was used to point out that your wonderfully skilled kill on my low F6F without E is nothing to base "hasn't learned how to exploit the F6F fully yet" statements on. So when you come here and start making pilot skill suppositions on events which don't prove anything except that you know two basic E bleeding tactics, then I'm going to come here and front on you.

 In that case...

 Couldn't you have just said

"Thx Widewing, but different from what you may think, I'm quite confident in the F6F. I think I can say I've mastered it enough"

 ....

ps) Having trouble in docile communication?

I'd beat anyone in this game in the F6F 1v1, including cavalear. And I fly it about 3 times a week.

So, Widewing, stop making blanket statements about people's skills because you get one or two kills on them when they are not even fighting you or when you start off with six with the greatest advantage possible while in one of the best TnBers in the game. IF you had lost to an F6F in the position described above, that would surely be sad. Don't forget that I was also setting you up for DMF.

Nath.... Looks like we need to tangle. I haven't been in the kitty much since the la7 and niki dweebs came about but I would love to ahve a few duals and see if I can get back into her. How about it? Next time we in MA and see eachother?

lol with your attitude you wont pass the phsycological tests needed. They will piss you off sooner and quicker than anyone at this forum and players in the game are able to.
HeHe  hollywood movies dont always tell the truth about needed pilot qualities, like hotshot, arrogant selfcentred superboys.
That is for true a myth.
But if your  acting ridicolous for fun, here then its another story.

Even the best got shot down in WWII.   Sometimes more than once...or even twice.

Quite often these great sticks were combinations of confidence, competence, and humility.
