Well nothing came close to touching me, it was just funny to watch.

Where I bit it was when a guy with way more altitude dropped down and rammed the top of my plane. I suppose I could have tried harder to pull away, at the risk of breaking apart...

Anyways, it was still fun. Watching people chase was as fun as flying :)

LOL BotaBing?  Did you just challenge me to a fight?

Shouldn't be too much trouble.  I figure you'll come out here to Oregon, come to my doorstep then have to come back to the bbs and tell everyone how low it was for me to stand my ground and kick your bellybutton after all the work/money you went through to get there.

At least... that's the impression I get from all your posts.

No, I challenged you to make personal insults to my face. If we were having this conversation in person, I highly doubt you would call me a moron.

And if you want a fight, I'm more than happy to oblige. Gloves or no gloves, your choice.

If being called a moron gets you so bent out of shape, I strongly suggest you refrain from speaking (or posting).

You are too quick to remove all doubt.

does this thread qualify as assault yet?  I mean we've got threats of real physical violence now...

What gets me bent out of shape is how quickyl people will act like total amazinhunks just because they are sitting behind their computer screen.

If we were at the Con, and I mentioned "Man its funny how people go totally bonkers when they see a 262, the other day I upped my first one and a lot of guys tried to ram me..." I highly, highly doubt that your reaction would be to call me a moron.

That kind of personal insult has no place in a game like this. Go play quake with the other 14 year old kids.

My point is exactly what I said ~ you wouldn't talk to me like that in person for saying what I said here. Not only would you probably not be that big of an ass, but you surely wouldn't want to take the risk of pissing me off.

You know, the other part of what upsets me about these kinds of trollers is that you didn't even read the post.

I didn't die vulching a base. I never even went that low, I was probably up above 1500-2000 feet off the ground the entire time. I was moving way too fast for anyone there to be a threat. And frankly, if you don't think trying to pick off enemy planes before they reach a position of advantage is a smart tactic, not to mention a historical one, I suggest you do some reading.

I got killed by some high altitude person diving down to ram me. He must have blown 5000+ feet of alt, and been going so fast as to being close to critical mass and near break apart time. I never got pinged by him, I blew up when we collided.

p.s. If I had died to ack or something lame while trying to vulch planes ON THE FIELD, I mean, that would be so stupid I would almost expect someone to say "Hey man that was really moronic..."

But I didn't do anything remotely close. A spit was upping, I swooped in for the attack, and the multitude of low-alt low-speed planes in the vicinity all immediately turned towards me...

It is funny when you think about it, I know anytime a 262 is near me, I hear tons of comm channel broadcasts making sure everyone knows its there, etc. Same goes for a Spit XIV

I strongly suggest you re-read your first post and everyone thereafter.  Or was that AI flying all those planes?

If you were to say at the con "C-47s try to ram me while I fly an Me262" I will continue to call you a moron.  At the con or not.  I guarantee it.

Dude.. you set the precident of being an bellybutton with the first post of this thread.  And here you are... continuing to think its everyone else's fault.

If you don't like the response... well.. I'm sorry.  It doesn't make it any less accurate.

If you feel your "you wouldn't say that to my face" means anything other than "the threat of violence would keep you quiet" then you are living up to my initial assessment.

Everyone else's fault? What exactly are you talking about?

I am flying a 262, somewhere around 7-8k at something like 450mph, and I see a low-flying low-speed spit. I drop down to attack him. A nearby C-47 does a half-loop (Himmel? or something) in an effort to turn around and HO ram me.

That makes me a moron?

The sheer stupidity in your assessment, and hostility, is punishment enough for you...

Took less than half a tank of gas to see about 20-30 planes drop everything they were doing to try to chase me. 2 c-47's tried to ram me.
Translation:

I tried to come in at 600 mph on C-47s and nearly ram'd them as they evaded.  Of course, the collision was being forced by the much slower and lower aircraft... not by me and my dweebish tactics.

Got 3 maneuver kills from people killing themselves in an effort to catch me.
Wow.. cool.

And finally, someone in a Tpyh dropped down about 5000 feet to ram me and I lost the bird.
Yep.. I'm sure that someone with 4 hispanos had to resort to ramming a faster plane to get a kill.

So... these statements alone qualify you as a complete and total moron.  And that is from your initial post.

The part about diving to pick someone off as they launched was just icing on the cake.

Of course, I'm sure you weren't attempting to ridicule anyone with this post.  It was all in good fun.. just highlighting the idiocy you see when you take up a perk plane.  Yep... just nameless faces you are insulting there.  That makes it ok. ;)
