I'M SORRY FOR ALL CAPS BUT THIS IS REDICULOUS.  I HAVE BEEN PLAYING ACES HIGH FOR 3 YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS FRUSTRATED.  I HAVE HAD 4 CTD'S IN THE PAST HOUR.  I THINK IT IS TIME FOR HTC TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT IMPLEMENTING NEW PLANES AND START MAKING THEIR CURRENT GAME WORK.

AMD XP 1800+
Geforce3 Ti200 Gainward Golden Sample
512meg DDR

anything wrong with my hardware?

THIS IS UNBEARABLE TO EVEN TRY TO PLAY.  I WANT A 15.00 CREDIT THIS MONTH.

Seriously Pand, I had some CTD and screen freeze but the last patch seems to have fixed those.

lol Pand, ignore the ones that always seem to come back with some moronic snobbish remark, they obviously are not one of the many having issues with AH.  I totally agree, for me, the game is unplayable.  I deleted my account a week ago because of repeated disco/CTD/freeze.  Not gonna cry about it, because i don't run the show, but planning on trying again with fresh system/download.

Ive only got seven or eight hours with patch four but Ive had three, maybe four CTDs.   At least I havent had any freezes requireing a reboot with this patch.  I can deal with logging back on to AH "occassionally" but when I have to reboot and reconnect I get tired of that real quick.

Have had six, maybe seven losses of UDP but only one resulted in a CTD.  I just log at the next RTB adn come back in.

Since the last patch, NO CTD's, 1  exitable lockup (tail slide into water freeze).

P3V4X; Celeron 1.2Ghz; 512mb; GF3Ti200; XP Pro; DX8.1; SB Live!.

Try posting this in the Tech Support forum, and include your full system specs.  You could also email or call them.

I don't think posting in the tech support forum with specs will help anything... that would assume that the problem is on my end... which it is not.  I have had no previous problems with AH until this current patch.  I have tried reformatting and completely reinstalling my system from scratch, no joy.  I am extremely irritated because I have played a game for 3 years and now I can no longer play--- and to think, I was just now starting to get pretty good. =)

Anyway, Someone put out another patch soon.  I only get CTDs no lockups, nothing... just BAM, desktop.

Pand you misunderstand, giving your system specs gives them something to work with, clues to look for.

It might only effect AMD processors running a GF 2, windoze XP and a turtle beach sound card and nothing else for example...

With your system specs, they can crunch info.

Give them something like this, and include if your running a firewall etc.

AMD Athlon 1.2 T-bird
Epox 8K7A+ MB
Via 4 in 1 drivers
512 2100 DDR ram
IBM deskstar 20 gig hard drive
Asus GeForce v7100 pro 11.01c Asus drivers
Soundblaster PCI 512
Sony 19" Multiscan 400PS
1024x768 32 bit
Windoze ME with auto restore disabled
8.1 Direct X

System, vidio card and modem optimized with TweakMe and NVmax
( not overclocked - running current setup for a year )
CPU temp 101 under load - Case temp 75
Run "End it all" before each session
Defrag weekly - and after any download or file change

And let them work it.

This has probably been answered somewhere before, but......Vulcan, you say an 'exitable' lock up, when I do the tail_water_lockup thing, it's a full reboot for me.
How do you exit from this?
or am I just reading your post entirely wrong?

I really can't remember my last CTD! I had them all the time while running RW. When I deleted the RW program and started using AH Voice, the CTD ended.

BTW: I use Windows XP Pro.
