With the new release something has changed in the game THAT EFFECTS YOUR MACHINE.

Now how in Gods green pastures is AH going to get to the bottom of WHAT WAS CHANGED IN THE RELEASE that effects YOUR MACHINE, if you don't supply the info that's required to research the problem ????

Here ya go. just happened 10 minutes ago.
5 of us on... all on the same vox channel.

Just took off from a base... we started to engage a panzer on the ground.

I'm about to hammer down, when bam, crash to desktop.
Bigwade CTD'd
Greedz CTD'd
Cheiron CTD'd
SofaKing CTD'd

All of us.
5 different machines, 5 different hardware setups.  Different ISP's... hell Greedz is in Australia.  All crashed in the same area, at the same location.  It's not our machines, unless ALL 5 of our machines have conflicts with the latest Patch, and if that's the case, it's NOT specific to my machine.

That's 100% proof that its not on our end.  It's situational.

P.S But of course knowing all who experienced the CTD, and with the films you have been taking, supplying the operating systems and systems specs to AH of all involved will go along way in the investigation...

I Myself Just Got 3 CTD's  In A Row Within 2 Minutes Of Logging Back On.

Pand I Noticed That  Server Connections Made The Difference. When I Logged On All Rooms Except Main Arena Were Fluctuating Badly.   When That Happens It's Almost A Sure Sign I Will CTD Sooner Or Later.

Just about everyone in The Damned is experiencing the CTD prollem. 3 of us just just got axed within 60 seconds about 20 minutes ago.

It doesn't limit itself to XP Home as some of us run 2000 Pro, 98 SE & XP PRO.

Same with connects, we have dial-ups, DSL and cable.

Someone mentioned pop-up disabler as a possible cause - that I do have and will disable.

I never had the problem until the last patch release.

Pand that last response is high school.  Look at my rank, it isn't the greatest, probably around 1300.   Ask my squaddies, I'll get a 4 kill run and sacrifice them, to help out a fellow squaddie or Rook.  Some people would call that stupid, but ranks don't mean toejam to me, teamwork does.  If you ARE a Rook, don't cry to me to clear yer 6, you're selfish man, diddlying selfish.  

Roscoroo is a trusted fellow Rook.  We have flown many a times together.  I've seen him fly on there.  I'll wing with him ANYDAY.  You, are an arrogant, snide, ignorant person, who is the BABY of ALL BABIES.

We all know that all the other ranks except fighter don't count.  Wow, I can fly a bomber for 50 hours a month and get 10 sorties out of it... or hey, lets drive aroudn on the ground in a tank---

Attack and Fighter are the only real "ranks" worth looking at.  When provoked I respond accordingly.  Keep in mind guys, I was not asking anyone for help with the CTDs--- never once did I say, please help me.  I was merely stating a point that I think it is rediculous that after every patch, something is more wrong than before.  You all took it upon yourselves to try to make solve the problem... there is no possible solution to the problem, it is just the patch.

Anyway, as far as teamwork goes--- ask just about anyone on the rooks who happens to fly with me, aside from just my Squadmates.  I was unable to land my 18 kill sortie because I dove down and sacraficed myself to clear someone else's six who was in a poor position with little "e" under a cloud of cons.   Teamwork is what this game is all about.  Unfortunatly, all the rook's aren't all about teamwork, as we seem to lose the war a lot =)

Anyway, it's been a fun thread guys --- I found it extremely enjoyable,  and it was really amusing to see how quick all these guys come to defend HTC when someone says something against them!  I guess you are all extremely loyal customers!  But then again, so am I... I may compain about the problems, but it's still the best online flight sim available...

People TRIED to help YOU.  Have you even lifted a finger and post this whine, tirade, whatever you want to call it, in the Bug Report Forum?  NO!!!  Why? because you're more content with mixing "Pand's WANTS" with "HTC'S lack of caring".  

Do us a favor, knock it off.  Continue the "everyone's against me", "don't cuss around me", crap somewhere else.
