Macboy I just realized who you remind me of.  Did you ever see that movie "Mars Attacks"?  I think that's what it was called.  The one with Jack Nicolson.

You remind me of the Martians, "Yap yap yap yap yap" "yap yap yap yap yap"

Get a real OS    j/k kinda

In the land of Warbirds, Macboy is Spitboy.  There is also a rumor he was General Balo, but that would have been a step up.

Erm, get yer facts right, Hedu, before you smear someone. I post as myself here, and have since I opened my account in August 1999. To my knowledge, no one has ever accused me of being Macboy or General Balo.

Spitboy -SW-
Neither Macboy nor General Balo. Maybe Pyro will check my IPs just to be sure.

Stealth prefers to go into battle disguised or heavily camouflaged, often using pseudonyms, anonymous mail servers and multiple e mail addresses. Operating from a position of anonymity he can launch vicious attacks with little fear of reprisals. Because of his cowardice he is often dismissed by other Warriors as an unworthy foe.

it's disconcerting that good news creates such negative reactions.

KE: The Terrain Editor ran into some serious problems and was never finalized. It makes a good addition to the suite of terrain tools we already possessed, but never got to the point of being the stand-alone application we wanted. All of the individuals who were working on it were eventually assigned to WarBirds III so it will most likely never be more than what it is now. It makes the terrain creation process much easier than what it previously was (I've used it on two current terrains and one I'm working on now) but does not fill all the gaps we had hoped it would.

Udie,
Where HS & iEN are concerned we are in complete 100% crystal clear agreement!

Macboy, macboy2k, or whatever your calling yourself this week. Just keep eating those sour grapes, you'll choke on em eventually!

Cit, in other words "It don't work! "

Gee surprise surprise!
Didn't like the look of the work it does do!
Compared to AH terrains they SUCK! That being a highly personal subjective opinion of course. Your mileage may vary.

Hmmmmm.. seems odd that WB update posts would be on this board, regardless of the "sense of community".  Seems to me, anyone interested in WBIII stuff should go to the appropriate website/message board for it.  I don't go to the WB board to find out about AH, and I wouldn't expect vice versa.  I do respect that the info was posted with apparent honorable intentions, although it could seem a bit shady since, all mention of "community" aside, WB and AH are direct competitors.  Just my opinion, but seems inappropriate to post here.  Would sorta be like Apple posting news about their new OS on a Microsoft board, and vice-versa.  Smells just a tiny bit to me, like, "Hey all you guys who got tired of paying so much and didn't like the flight modeling, etc.... pleeease come back.  We miss you!"

And Udie.. maybe if we just all start yodeling, MacTwit's big ugly head will explode in a mass of green slimy goo!

Whew!  this 'comunity' is sure full of venom... don't like the company?  LOL... If I held a grudge i could think of all the total BS that the former WB creators handed out when they were in charge.  But....Give em time.   The guys that pouted on out of WB will end up leaving in a huff from AH over Gawd knows what imagined slight in the future.  It's just their nature.

 Lazs,

I have good reasons not to like that company.  The main reason though is from when I was a trainer and beta tester.  We were testing the version they added the clickable 6 calls and some flight model changes.

90% of the beta testers didn't like the FM changes and were VERY vocal about this on the mail list.  Then after it was release the community hated it and complained. Well the best HS could come up with was Hey the beta testers said they liked it, so blame them not me.  That right there broke my camels back.

And yes I hold a grudge, I'm bad about that sometimes...
