Sorry Jebo... I don't have to prove they are used only 10% of the time because that's what the stats indicate. You are the one stating the "I feel..." type comments based solely on one mans flight time. Prove the numbers are wrong.

Its hard to call planes uber and dominating yet argue that they are actually getting lesser kills/hr then other planes or lesser kills/sortie than other planes. Basically, the numbers work themselves out wether you want to believe it or not.

But here we go with another, "To me... there are too many... so they should be perked" statement.

Deja, just look what he spends most of his time flying. The planes he wants perked are ones he doesn't usually fly very much if at all (look at how much he flies the P-51 for example). Big surprise? I think not. The fact that he says "well HTC would stop it before the perking went too far" is just another way of saying "well I wouldn't want them to perk MY favorite planes".

DejaVu I never posted my reply with the slightest inclination that these planes would be perked. also, I never based my theory on the % of how many flights these planes had. I simply was going off the top planes that made the top five popular planes from the information you posted.

JAB If you will look closely at my stats, one of the planes that I do fly alot is the LA7 so how does that fit into your theory?. Perk the F4U-1 and the A6M2 I have the perks to pay for em and I promise I will still fly them just like I fly the -C.

The information I posted shows them as having 10% of the kills (OK.. the P51 had 11% for the first time in 3 tours). Like I said.. these numbers are consistantly going down as planes are added.

If you're using my numbers for this argument... why the hell are you asking me to show numbers on this? sheesh.

And if you're just saying that the top x planes should be perked then... well... see what urchin has said repeatedly. Then combine it with what I said, because when you do it you are effectively reducing the number of available aircraft... and you'll begin to see what would happen.

Sure great what ever you say Deja. It is pointless to argue about it and neither you or Urchin has pushed me away from my opinion. Only reason I wanted you to give me proof was because you are telling me that I have to see it your way. Sorry but I do not. Lets just chalk it up to you not liking my opinion.

My way? Hmmm... how about doing this... look at the top planes and see if their % use has gone up or down as more planes have been added.

Its there.. you just don't want to see it because it doesn't conform to your "opinion". You ask me to show you "proof" that your "opinion" is wrong when its sitting right there.

Does perking a plane reduce its use? Yep... look at the CHog.

Does perking the top 5 planes mean that there won't be any more planes with 10% usage? ROTFLMAO!

Really.. stop and think about what you're saying some time.

Deja for the last time I looked at what planes were in the top 5 in most of these tours and that is it. I looked only at that, nothing else. I could care less if the plane is used 10% of the time or 50% of the time. I never said that I did. I was looking at the planes that made it into the top 5 almost every tour. Not the numbers. Nothing else. Nadda! Some almost never made it out of the top 3! This is your information, the thing is your numbers do not tell you what they tell me. Hell I wasn't even looking at the numbers.

I do not care if their usage has gone up or down, left or right. Why are you so scared of those planes being perked? And dont use Urchins theory because we all know that if HT did perk some of the planes we have been talking about, lets say four of them, he would not perk every single one of the kites because people would raise all kinds of hell. My guess is you will respond that there is no need that the new additions of more planes will balance things out and give everyone more choices, so on and so forth. Well then to that end how about unperking the -C??? Sure at one point in time she was the massive killer of the skies, but now there are more planes so whats the harm???

Then once again Jebo... see Urchin's point. All that idea would do would be to perk every single plane in the MA because, since you've made % use irrelevant, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A TOP 5.

Jeez... this isn't really that tough of a concept.

You want even usage? You need 1 plane.
