seems someone wasn't paying much attention when a certain someone in a certain squad got banned for a month for posting (in jest) a "hack."

you know what they say about history....

That pic was taken by me and as Flossy pointed out ... it was quite some time ago. Would have been nice if Maxtor pointed that out when posting the picture, so as not to cause confusion and accusations suchs as Whels'.

As soon as it was pointed out to us (a few days after that drop) that massive goons drops, such as that, cause havoc with the server, we HAVE NOT and WILL NOT do it again.

40DogMAW is the commander of the MAW, I am just the CO for the MAW Blacksheep Wing, but I can say with all certainty, that the MAW would never do anything, intentionally, to cause HTC or the community problems.

Knights usually do a "Valkries" Mission on special days...it started with D-Day a couple years back, then expanded to days like Christmas day and New Years day.  However, lately the community has grown so large that now its apparent the servers can't handle this...I think I won't post anymore of these missions on special occasions since apparently HTC hasn't quite got a handle on this server lock up issue.

But double check with me again on June 6th this year. ;)

Same goes for the MAG and the rest of the squads I respect USMC AK's 56 firebirds and a lot I cant think of right now 13TAS even tho some of them dont respect us.

 If mass goon drops crash the server fix it make troops unable to be killed. No more reason for mass goon drops. As long 1 guy can blow tru 100 fighters and suicide on one troop and spoil a base capture and or a reset that thousands have worked on for hours days or weeks you are gonna see mass goon drops. Period end of story and shut up about it allready.  

 To my knowledge whining has never fixed a single problem in the history of the universe.  Proactive thinking and actions fix problems.

Mighty neighborly of you to point that out Shane ... I'll bet no one is surprised ... :rolleyes:

iceMAW is probably one the most respectable players that I have met and anybody who has flown with ice and knows ice, knows that his ideas on how to crash the server, were "tongue and cheek", and you know it. Yet you try to drag up some crap that may light a fire under HT so that he may even consider banning ice was probably the lowest I have seen you sink in your constant diarrhetic diatribes you bestow upon this BB.

I'll bet that most people "know what they say about history" ... its obvious that you don't.

i don't tell HTC what to do at all, or even suggest it.  if you took your head out of your ass, you'd notice i didn't quote icemaw, giving him all the opportunity in the world to edit his remarks.

doesn't matter if it's "tongue in cheek" or not from what i gathered from that one-month ban incident; even if icemaw has no intention of doing these things, he just pointed it out how it can be done, which is just as bad as doing it himself. or rather, let me say that icemaw gave motivations for doing it.

and frankly i don't give a flying fug what you think my motivations for posting a reminder are. you should be thanking me and having icemaw edit his remarks.  

btw who was the tardlet who dragged this subject back out into the forefront the other day?  and you're surprised it's created yet another thread about the subject?

How about a little programming that would make this kind of fun.  Say, if there are already 40 troops for one country (this is just my number, if another works better - fine) either in the air or on the ground, then any other troops for that country become suicide bombers the instant they jump out - blowing up themselves, any nearby troops and the transport they were on.  :D

Maybe not feasible (certainly not realistic), but it would put a stop to stuff like this.

I don't think Shane was trying to 'light a fire' under HiTech's bellybutton and get IceMAW banned.  Shane was just trying to remind IceMAW that talk like that might be actioned againts, just like it was to one of upstanding members of The Damned not so long ago when he made his 'tongue and cheek' post.

I do not want to pork the server I do not want anyone to pork the server. If pointing out that the Marine Air Wing is not the only one's to have done a mass goon drop and standing up for my squad gets me banned then so be it. I stand be my convictions. I DO NOT CHEAT I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING INTENTIONAL TO HARM THE SERVER OR THE GAME OR ANYONES FUN. I WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HARM THE SERVER OR CHEAT OR RUIN ANYONES FUN. I realize how serious hitech is about cheating and commend him and his company for doing thier utmost to stop it.


 As these are most likley the last words I might ever post. Its been fun see ya. =S=
