Probably quite right Curval.

When I go to the movies, it is a form of mental relief for me.  I prefer intelligent humor and movies with no bearing in reality.  I like a good action movie, but don't care for excessive violence.

Two of my favorite films (not to hijack the thread, but for perspective purposes only), Demolition Man and Galaxy Quest.

Siaf: No, but at age 28 you've developed enough 'skills' to manipulate your date in subtler, more effective ways than what chick flicks can do.

Of course this doesn't happen if you're American. Your basically stop any mental development at age 2 in that case but that is ok, since it is the same for both genders

I don't like to walk out of movies because you can really find some gems in even the worst movies.  But there was one...

Natural Born Killers.  What a horrible movie.

And Animal... I'd expect a youngun like you not to like The Wedding Singer.   Mostly because you just don't get it. ;)

Came close during "Mission to Mars" Ewwww, they tried to make it realistic and failed in that AND in making it entertaining. Red Planet was better, though not the best Sci-Fi either.

"Hidden dragon, Crouching Tiger"

I would've walked away from that one, but i had my brother with me so i couldnt.

Typical bad movie with high review rates just because its Chinese culture movie. You know, "Emperor wears no clothes" thingy. It lasted some 2½ hours, i almost died of boredom.
