Knights we need to fight smart and use hit and run Tactics when we are significantly out numbered.  Some times the best defense is a good offense but that doesn't neccesarily mean taking bases.  When you are out numbered, strategic attack missions are used to disable the enemy's abilty to wage war by killing thier barracks so they can't up troops or resupply fom that base, fuel so they can't fly very far or very high or fly gas hoging planes, and ammo so they can't bomb our fields, or CV's or GV's, Fighter Hangers so they cant up any aircraft while a solid CAP is established and GV hangers so they cant up GV's and spoil your vulch fest.  You may not be able to stop the enemy from taking bases completely but you sure as heck will slow them down and force them to fight some where else.  I have seen this happen many times because the USMC squad performs alot of strategic attacks.  The strategies to be used to win the war changes with the battlefield conditions. Such as  numbers and who has what fields etc.  I know this because for 15 years in the military I studied offensive and defensive tactics. One problem I see on a regular basis with the knights is resupply or the lack there of.  No one wants to stop vulching or score whoring long enough to resupply bases.  Even if you pork a base during a capture, take 10-15 minutes from your steam rolling and fly defensive cover while 5 or 6 of you resupply the base.  You would be surprised how fast that base comes up. Secondly, the knights need to give CV sinking a priority.  Too many times without fail I've seen knights furball a carrier attack only to lose the base.  The only way to stop a CV attack is to kill the CV. Plain and simple. You may be able to fend off a few waves in the beginning but eventually they will out number you and take the base.

Although you have 15 years in the military, I watch The History Channel and  "Mail Call" alot with R. Lee Ermey.

He said all Knights are queers.

Ike2k#; lol . What secret.  It doesn't do any good to guide people, show them what needs to be done when they just ignore you. There are players out there that just don't really care about capturing base or if any of their bases are being captured.  In other words, they are not online to offer any real assistance or constructive teamwork to hep achieve the goals of the country they belong to.  I'm sure this isn't anything new to people who have played this game for a while.  Especially those who switch sides from time to time for a change of pace.  But unfortunately you cant tell the seriouse player from the one who is like the soccor player who thinks its fun just to run around the field all day chasing the ball and the other players with out trying to kick the ball or score a goal.

You mean if we do all you say then we will win the hawiian vacation like the bish do?  

Otherwise...your plan just looks like a way to have crappy fights.

Yes and the new car. LOL.  
I've had tons of good fights trying to disable a base inorder to slow down or stop an assualt on one of our bases.  But you know, in this era of extreme liberalism, selfishness and self centeredness,  when our country is down to 2,3 or 4 to1 odds you would think that the furballers would stop being so selfish minded and help the others who are actually tryng to play this game the way it was designed.  when we have the numbers you can furball to your heart's content.  All I'm asking is be conciderate of those who are trying to play the game.

I don't think you know what a good fight is so your opinion is not really that important to me.  jakal1 might be the guy you wanna address.

As to you being the only one who knows how the game should be played.... how it is designed to be played.... not worth a comment.

Meddog, I suspect you're disenchanted with Knightland performance in tactical strategy, but letme assure you that the last 7 weeks (4 in rookland and 3 in Bishland) has assured me that every country has its tactical problems, its not limited to just Knightland. And, this is a good thing as we seem to be a diverse community that has folks that pay for what they choose to do, and when they choose to do it.
