I have probably about another 10 or 15 gv fields to change to airfields (I still have 3 new fields to put in one zone...I know where they go, it's just more time consuming than a simple field type switch). After that, I will have to add gv spawns to 15 new fields and check them. Then I can ship it back to HTC. If I can figure out some way to get these dam  porkchops outta my pockets and get my bellybutton outta this R/L alligator pond...I will finish quickly  .

WTG NB!

25-30 V fields changed to AIR fields? OUTSTANDING!

Adding 18 new AIRfields/CV's? TRULY OUTSTANDING!

More action, more better!

Are you going to be able to change the fuel resupply so that it doesn't take a disproportionate number of missions to get the fuel back up to at least 50%?

Thanks again... good work!

Very nice change. Please, fix supply bug for hq zone supply fields. When country get them, supply does not change ownership. At least for NE, NW sides.

Please do not change resupply values. Toad, if you want fields to be back in 30 min. or in 3 c47 runs, just take zone supply control field. At big maps all the strat playing is around those key fields. I understand your drive for flying and fighting, that is what I am partually share, but there are still strat players considerations.

Fariz, it's beyond idiotic, IMO, that it takes three enemy passes to knock the fuel down to 25% and takes seven resupply sorties to get up back up to 50%.

See the previous Trinity thread. Even NB sees the inequality in this.

Actually it takes 10.

To take it back to 125% :)

It is not a partual process, just in your case 1 fuel tank were killed bit earlier than others. Even field without supplies get some, but that is much slower process than for fields which has supplies.

Also you forget that heavy fighter which goes after the field can be intercepted otw, killed by acks or gvs while killing strat. Though it seems that it takes 1 person, it usually takes anything between 1 and 10, depending if attackers operate coordinated, how good they are, and if defending side has some defenders over its fields.

Again, if you got the resupply key field, it would be 3 goons or half hour to bring everything back. This is right thing to simulate the advantage of defensive side, and adds a concept of a key points, one of the main subject of analitical strategy interest. It also gives more organize side advance over the side with sheer number of players.

I can agree with you that numbers may be more ballanced, what we have now for fields without supplies is bit long. But I do not numbers to be changed too strong. 1 goon which makes field up, like it was some versions before, put strat playing almost to complete stop. For a total happiness of action crowd :) But we still looking for a ballance, do not we?

Interesting that after adding a resupply system to AH, HTC still can't find the good strat ballance for MA. What we have now is quite interesting approximation, and quite close. Numbers may be adjusted.

What I think AH strat system shall be like I will post in a separate thread.

All above is IMHO.

Fariz...Toad...

You're preaching to the converted. Unfortunately, that is code...not terrain. I did speak to HT a way back and suggest that he look at it. His thoughts were to toughen the fuel bunkers. You might want lobby him directly (he is gonna love me for that one :D).

NB>> Harden the fuel bunkers? That's something Skuzzy can change in a snap. Right now the default hardness for fuel is .3125 or 312.5lbs of irons to destroy a fuel bunker. Why not up it to .5 or .75?

I know all about this because the CT staff and I change these values often to reflect gameplay issues for our maps in the Combat Theatre.

why code hardened fuel? I mean, it IS a damn fuel dump, it should blow up with a few .50's.

Instead I would recomend adding a LOT more fuel dumps so it will take a long time for a single plane to hurt a field's fuel and to make it so only a 3 to 5 bomber formations carpet bombing the place can pork the entire fuel in the field.

IMO of course.

Oh, and Nobaddy, would it be possible to get a "blank" trinity map terrain for the editor? I mean, without the bases or strat targets on it?

Nice to see enhancements to the map.

Are those towering peaks being brought down a tad?
