I've tried many times to get Dale to just cancel the accounts of those who can't seem to offer anything other than contention at every opportunity....sometimes, it's not worth doing business with some folks, especially at a whopping $15.00/month.

Ego stroked? Contention? Now you are making things up.

I merely asked about the current status of the lawsuit and made an observation about the customer service levels between then (when the old thread was written) and now. Any more than that is your imagination and the input of illiterati like Martlet and Bohdi.

No wonder Dale doesn't listen to you.

I'm just wondering why this idiot bumped this old thread just to complain about some well deserved comments HT made.  What does this have to do with lawsuit???

Horn, forgive me, but I had to respond to get in before the lo.... ummmm, to try to share some understanding.

You're right about dissing customers, but this isn't a normal business thing here. Many have known and flown with Dale sonce the early AW days, and sharing the hate has always been the norm. HiTech could give Shane a run for his money. So it's not surprising HiTech might respond with both barrels.

We should also consider the work these people have put into this game, and how hard they tried to get it ready for the third quarter. Then when we finally get a beta release to *start* testing, many responded negatively on things that have nothing to do with the beta or AH2, about stuff that was just tacked together to build the beta, and much of it insults against HiTech and his crew.

They gave us a clear explanation and instructions on testing the beta, so there was no reason for the mindless complaints and insults to HTC. It may not be great customer relations, but it sure is understandable and justified that HiTech called them dolts. And the fact that some here do understand and feel it was justified doesn't make them cheerleaders. Especially in my case, siince I've done plenty to piss off HiTech also.

You'll notice that this thread died, as it should have, in July. It was Horn who decided to revive it with the intention of a double poke in the HTC eye while trolling.

So, with no new additions to this thread since July, from HTC, as to the current state of the lawsuit, none should be expected IMHO.

I wasn't assigning any responsability for any person or persons bringing this thread back.

If you look back, you'll notice that I posted the same thing on the first page of the thread, when the topic was relatively "fresh." As a guy working in the IP industry, I can't help myself, but click on this thread to see if there is any information in it. Of course now I'm as much of the problem as anyone else lol.

Old news that may just be rumors.
Don't really see the point of even bringing it back up.
Whatever is or is not going on is HTC buisness and I'm sure will be handled as such.

Picture a dark damp corridor. Off in the distance you hear a faint echo of heavy footsteps. As the footfalls draw closer they increase in volume. Like thunder from a storm as it comes closer ever closer. Soon the the footfalls are like thunder from the gods themselfs. Echoing louder and ever closer your fear grows and grows. Frantically you search for a place to hide. Every exit you find is blocked. You scream and run headlong into the darkness.

Finally as the footsteps are reverbarating in your head like a jackhammer was pressed against your temples. You find a open door you dash inside and close it carefully as not to make a sound. Still the footsteps come closer and closer echoing in the darkness. Fear overtakes you back into a corner pushing with all your strength trying to slip into the crack in the wall and escape the closing steps. Finally the thundering steps are right outside the door you pray they keep going but to your dismay they stop. At any moment you expect the door to burst open and a demon from ID to step inside.

But instead you hear the jingle of many keys on a large ring. At the last moment you realize your mistake and make a dash for the door but its allready too late. Halfway to the door you hear the key enter the lock as the rusty bolt slams home into the door frame you consider your fate. How long will you be trapped? How long before a gratefull death takes you and frees you from your prison?

The thundering footsteps begin again this time slowly fading as the demon continues down the corridor. You can hear his soft mocking laugh as his footsteps fade.

SKUZZY the keymaster has locked you in. Your pathetic fate has been sealed and you scream at the darkness why why was I such a fool.

HEHEHE in before the lock.

Aces High:

I'm actually surprised that Warbirds had that many pilots logged on.   :D
