Now, please, edit that message and erase those lines, because you're making fool out of yourself when this thread is not about that.

I am trying to think other people benefit here if you yet havent discovered that.

I LIKE the graphics that are usually posted here. If bandwidth is an issue then go to "tools/internet options/advanced" and then deselect pictures and animations in explorer...a simple click is all that is needed and then your problem is resolved. And no one elses expression is stepped on.

You must also consider that you must be then clicking on and off those, and IF theres something that you has to see (diagrams etc.), you will not see that and 'show image' does not work if the 'image tag' goes pass your eyes  

and this is message board after all, isn't this?
If you wan't to see complex squad tags, why not to put those up in a gallery and go look those from there?

I was a "member" in beta times when most of my posts were made, back then there weren't many pay optins.

Then let's see example of other players, who are playing head to head, if they find something funny there, they're not allowed to post because they aint paying?

I want both... fast loading text pages AND really neat artwork. Here's how it can be done:

1. If you want a cool sig, fine. Do us all a favor and just keep it SMALL! (20X30 pixels and NO ANIMATED GIF'S!)

2.  When you have a great pic you really feel the need to share... make a SMALL thumbnail image of it, say 30X40 pixels,
then include an http://link-to-my-site.now  hyperlink. (This has the added advantage of opening a new browser window so I can continue reading all the fascinating, informative text while the image loads).

For those of you who don't know how to do #2 above... drop me an e-mail and I'll point you to some excellent tutorials on image compression and bandwith conservation.

That has some good idea.

If someone likes to see gif animations etc, they could just click on the 30x40 image and see that 'luxury' version of it, and message board would be kept clean.

I am posting an image that "YOU" used as an example of the graphics you would like to see someday in another of your posts. Seems kinda hypocritical though to use it and then tell others they shouldn't. I took the liberty to change the color of your uniform!   Some things are better conveyed in Graphics.

It was because of the thread, it was not irrelevant signature type of stuff.
Like if you have read completely what I've said, I am only talking of signature stuffs, not about pictures for the thread. (like diagrams for clear example)
you don't seem to read my posts completely, or then its matter in understanding of that what you read. (even though my english is not perfect, these other guys somehow do understand my meaning, so its not a good excuse)

by the way, thats an old picture already and its not my picture.. its some russian sitting there.

Actually, the option to turn pictures off in IE is pretty nice.  You can have it not show pictures, but it will show the area where a picture should be.  If you want to see it, you just have to right-click on the picture and click on 'Show Picture'!

I know, this is what I am saying in one of my posts..

Note: you must be clicking that on and off then whenever you come to the messageboard and go to other board, if you still want to see pictures in other pages.
I were while ago clicking cookies on and off in IE4, then got fed up with that.
Worst problem with message board is that you never know if thread will contain such images.
Next thing what I am saying is that you might miss that 'show image' box with right-click which indicates image... you might miss those diagrams etc. if you think it is just another signature.

Then, why to arque about this? even if that option would be in taskbar, I would still say that this is message board, not a gallery and if you wan't people to see your images, you put up a gallery page and link to it on your signature instead of kick bellybutton big signature.

I don't think I am alone with this issue,  even though I don't have modems low bandwith that many other still has.

Then read that first post, it tells you all  

Then those several images have done it (well.. that goes for good example WHY there shouldn't be such images in the posts unless its about the thread)
