Well, I've had about enough.
It's so enjoyable to log into a game I pay money for and get harassed by people who are jealous that a newcomer can do well. The ironic part is that if I totally sucked at this game, people wouldn't care. But since I DARE to actually maintain a positive score most days, I'm some sort of cloaked threat to AH2.
LYNX, I think it's completely pathetic how you act towards me. As you claim, it's not that I can outfly and outfight you (Which I did on day 1 or 2) it's that I 'talk' like a vet here on the forum.

Gee. I looked through these forums and didn't see any detailed AARs. I didn't see anyone relating their experiences daily. I didn't see hardly any people on here talking about POSITIVE aspects of the game.
So who am I then? Since appearently all the true "vets" on here type up detailed AARs, why don't we just go look through old AARs and match it up with mine? Oh wait. There are none.
So if vets don't do AARs like mine, how does typing an AAR make me a vet?
I guess it's knowing what a barrel roll is. Or that the Zeke is nimble but doesn't dive well. Or.. *GASP* knowing what compression is. According to the jealous haters, knowing avionics makes me an AH2 vet.
Funny, because AH2 isn't the end all of flight sims. There are people other than your self-centered selves who know terminology, who know manuvers, who know WWII machinery.
I've read real-life AARs from WWII and have emulated them for the purposes of entertainment and getting pumped up for AH2 even when I'm not actually playing it. I've watched and listened to interviews with WWII vets, including pilots and amazingly enough I've picked up enough to be able to type a good AAR.
So what is your proof?
1.) That I actually did well my first week?
Well that would just make you into some jealous fools, wouldn't it? Assuming that someone good with a stick and with a little practice can't dogfight is absolutely ridiculous. If you flew sims against some of my buddies, you'd be contemplaing suicide because they're a dang sight better than me.
2.) That I write good AARs?
Excuse me for being creative. Excuse me for documenting my fights. Excuse me for sharing my fun with other people. You know what the most pathetic thing is? Folks don't HAVE to read my AARs. They don't have to click "reply" and then type about how mad they are, and I must be a "shade". It's truely sad, truely pathetic and speaks massive volumes about your character.
What would have been ten times funnier is if I would have copy & pasted some of the AARs I've got in a WWII book I have into this and replaced real-world terminology with AH2 terminology. Especially AARs from rookie British pilots during the Blitz. Folks would have been RABIDLY screaming that those accounts were from AH2 vets. :lol :lol :lol
So here's my stand. Either find some evidence that I'm a shade and out me, OR stop being amazinhunks, come over to Knights and talk to me for a while with vox. You'll soon realize I'm NOT your old enemy. I'm NOT some ace from bygone days. I just happen to be good at video games.

I must admit i thought you were new until i logged in the other night and saw how you acted on channel 200. Someone ranting about HO's etc. didn't strike me as how a newbie would act or say.

Skytiger, you're letting them get to you. Sounds like you enjoy the game...if anyone is bothering you, squelch them. You won't read their text or hear their vox anymore. If someone is seriously harassing you, report them.
Let them have their anger, jealousy, or fear of a new player. You go out and have fun.
From an unbiased perspective (I do not care if you are a new guy or not, one way or the other) this post makes you seem a lot more like you screaming for attention, than an innocent new guy being harassed by players. Maybe that wasn't your intention, but I'm just calling it like I see it. This "to be a newb or not to be" issue has been beaten to death in your AAR threads. Starting a new one now several days later makes it seem like you enjoy the attention more than it bothers you.
Go up there and have fun like you've been doing. Keep posting AARs if you'd like, I like to read them. Enjoy the game and don't become BBS muck.

Skytiger dont sweat it dude!! Alot of vets treat new guys like a redheaded stepchild just play to have fun thats what its all about. Use the squelch command and they will go away. The pride level on many of the AH vets is so large they can barely get through a door. Heaven foirbid ya own one of them in the air, that sends em off the deap end. Just remember until you've been accused of out right cheating then you havent made it. I felt a since of pride when my squad was accused of that. :rofl once that happoened we knew we had arrived :rofl :rofl :salute

Dont get worked up man, alot of people on that fly AH2 havent branched out to other sims, there are alot though that came from wb and aw. When you fly a combat sim (expecially prop planes) all the moves still relate to this game. I came over from Air Attack(which turned into fighter ace) and the same moves still apply here. In fact the moves happen way slower here and its alot easier to react to, flight model is the only thing to adjust to(slowing to be specific, as well as judging e-state). Granted its extremely hard to get a 1v1, or get a co-e merge, or spend 15 minutes doing evasives while 5 or 6 hungy "lil fellas" try to dive on ya ;) then turn the tide and watch them extend into the next wave of friendlies or grab for the heavens.Have gotten some responses like that but most are harmless. I've even found that many are great guys, but no one likes to lose though. Keep it flying and having fun. I do agree if some of the squadies from the other sims that were elite came over here they would give anyone here a hell of a fight.

I don't know if the guy is a shade or not, but I don't blame him for getting a little torqued off. Seems like everytime he is on, some tool starts laying into him on 200. If it were me, I think I'd just call HTC and change my name. Then fly right under the radar for a few months.
Or maybe he is somebodies shade... Probably laughing his rear off at all the fools who have gotten themselves so worked up over his identity.

It's not about attention. Incase no one noticed, I didn't even participate in my own AAR threads after a while due to the idiots ruining it.
It's about the lack of respect being directed towards me in the game. This BS with Lynx today was the breaking point. I find it annoying that the same people bugging the hell out of me in the game are the same ones who come on here and go "omg he just wants attention!" after harassing me for 15 minutes while I'm trying to fly.
None of them have the balls to fight me IN the game, so they name-call, make accusations and hide behind the forum. Simple as that. If they'd either stfu in the game and fight me, or just come over to Knights and TALK to me, there wouldn't be a problem.
If you think I'm a shade, then PROVE it. Provide some sort of evidence. I don't need to do a thing to prove my innocence because in making your accusations you are just becoming bigger and bigger dickwads.

Ah the intertubz, it's where anyone can be a tuff guy and badass. My experience with meeting these tuff guys in real life is that 99% of the time their chicken poop D-bags. I wouldn't worry about it and just ignore them, anyone who feels being a vet of a game makes them better than someone obviously has a pathetic life and isn't worth your time.
Squelch them and don't reply back to their posts.

The real trick to spotting shades is their constant need to be accepted by the community as the person he is portraying in cyberspace, which btw give him pleasure to think hes so much smarter then the rest of us. Even I wasn't sure about this guy until this lunatic post about Lynx. I gave him the benefit of the doubt even tho I knew he was probably a phony. I mean I give Bronk no high marks for being what he is but at least he's "Bronk", ankle humping and all. He aint pretending to be other then he really is.
Other signs of the shade, 1, They want to be accepted quickly because they dont have the patience to spend 6 months like normal people do. 2, This impatience can often morph into creating controversy. Yaknow guys I fly with Lynx and I never once saw him get into this type of thing with anyone. 3, Shades always have their answers pre-readied because they know what they will be asked.
Let me ask you guys this. If you had like 2 or 3 weeks in the game would you post this?

My guess is your answer is probably no. Even the 14yos wouldn't. Even I wouldnt! And also there are some guys who have been around the game so long, and have gotton so good at it, that the rest of us dont badmouth them lightly in a forum. Even those of us who have years in the game.
Guys like Bronk and I may not be perfect, "Most of all Bronk", but at least Bronk is Bronk, "holding nose", and bombrich is bombrich. My guess is SkyTiger is probably Elvis, or a former F-18 stick. Either way I'm done with the drama, "tho I'll eagerly read the rest".

I'm glad your picking up the game and it's terminologly so quickly... Do you think it is a tad bit hypocritical to say that for you it is all about fighting in game, then making a post in a public forum for the people who have wronged you?
I got nothing against you, AARs are fine. But you have to understand, if you are not a shade, that this BB has a very long history of shades pretending to be new along with many many odd things from scorpion bites, firing guns in self defense, and I think there was once a fake death. For a noob to be doing really well from the start, well it is less than common or even rare. So you might understand why people would be skeptical. These threads never end good, but they will be entertaining.

Ive been at this 1&1/2 years and I'm still only "adequate". How long did it take you to get "good" or "really good" at this game? How long to get "great" at Aces High like the top sticks are?
I'll bet the answer to getting to the cream of the crop in this game, in all aspects and all vehicles, is probably 5 years minimum. And thats with almost daily flying. At the least its 3 to 5 years to get really good. Ive seen Lynx, and others like him, fly into a sky of red and still come out. And the incredible thing is he often flys alone. We aren't a squad that gangbangs. Often were all over the map.
So I'm not going to keep taking bites out of this Tiger guy. But I can look at the top ranks of the fighter guys, and while some are phony a lot are really, really good, and if Elvis keeps shooting them down then you all tell me what the deal is. :D And on out to about 250 are ranked some very, very good sticks. Even a few great ones. Oh, hahahahaha, I just looked at Elvis's scores. Hahahahaaahah, 3 weeks in the game? Or was it 2 weeks? hahahahhahahahhaah

I was just pointing out that Lynx did "get into this type of thing" this afternoon. Why did I point it out, you ask? Because I didn't want people to think that Skytiger was making up that Lynx was riding him about being a shade. Your post seemed to suggest that Lynx would never have behaved in such a manner, when in fact, he did today.

There's a pretty big difference between merely skeptical and incessantly rude. It doesn't matter what kind of diddlyin precedent there's been by Voss & co. No newcomer to the community should have to pay for what some completely unrelated bozo did months or years before. As far as anyone knows, SkyTiger is brand new to the game, and for the audacity of sharing his AARs with everyone, he gets ragged on for being an attention potato. Now tell me this: which one of you/us guys isn't a freakin attention potato for posting more than once a week on this message board, and which one of you guys with freakin pictures of your squad noseart etc in your sig aren't just pimping yourselves for everyone to see?
What a bunch of double standard BS. You guys totaly diddlyed this one up from the start. All he did was show up to a game that caught his passion, shared a few AARs, and now he's compared to Voss. That's really some choice roadkill. As if 75% of you guys didn't have some quirks of your own, god forbid even half of those were as positive for the "community" as compulsively sharing good AARs almost daily, with no barbs or other BS.

There's a pretty big difference between merely skeptical and incessantly rude. It doesn't matter what kind of maskin precedent there's been by Voss & co. No newcomer to the community should have to pay for what some completely unrelated bozo did months or years before. As far as anyone knows, SkyTiger is brand new to the game, and for the audacity of sharing his AARs with everyone, he gets ragged on for being an attention potato. Ive seen it thousands of times and its always fascinated me, like this one does. Its fascinating to me that anyone is that dumb to think this guy is legit. And some that do probably have diplomas on the wall, "not that that matters". Anyway, its a small thing. Its just a game. This was a guy who needed attention so bad he created this entirely false persona, had such a need for self grandeurization he convinced thousands of the mob he actually flew F-18s? And he got away with it for years? Loved playing the game for years? And along the way gets really pretty good playing this game? Well...then hes discovered and crucified in the forums, and done in pretty harshly, so no doubt he'll be back and just bitter enough to try the same thing again.

All I have seen is accusations, no evidence of any kind. If he is Adonai, then I would expect someone who knows Adonai's voice to pipe up and make the claim that SkyTiger sounds just like Adonai did. I haven't heard anyone make that claim, have you?
Take Cmustard for instance... When he changed his name, he didn't fool anyone for very long. People knew his voice and busted him.

I remember Yenny's first month of AHII, before anyone even heard of him, (Remember sig, "Flying since Tour 96" ) he was landing like 22 kills a sortie, just depends if he's a natural at this game or stinks. Maybe he played other flying games.

About 3 weeks ago I speculated Amsoil21 was cheating and I caught absolute hell for it. Well, we all know how that one turned out :lol.
And, I think I was one of the first to speculate that Skytiger was a shade and I caught hell for it too. Just my gut feeling. Maybe I'm wrong but whether he's a shade or just a new face...his constant need for attention and haphazard use of smiley faces really irks me. It just all seems out of place, and probably is.

LYNX is one of the most venerable players in this game. Seems he didn't even respond to your diatribe, probably finds it beneath him, as he should. He's one of those guys who'll fly 5 sectors to land an assist before bailing out to expedite a capture.
You'll need to build up some credibility in the game, and on the BB quite frankly, before you can hope to be taken seriously.
Keep at it though, fun game.

If you had taken the time to use the new stats page, you can see all the players SkyTiger has shot down this tour. The only 'good stick' listed as being shot down by SkyTiger was Lynx.
38 kills is the most he's gotten in any plane, the A6M5, which is a rather easy plane to fly, in fact easier to fly than the Spitfire. It's a very forgiving plane and one a new player can easily jump in and start turning, same with the Hurricane IIc and to a lesser extent the Bf 110c. So, it's really no surprise that a new player is able to get some kills in that plane. Also, if you had looked at his stats, it reflects not someone that is 'uber' but someone that is rather new to this game. The guy averages a little less than a kill per flight. That might make him good in your eyes but to me, it just shows someone that either starting out or not very good at all.
So, Dick (you don't mind me calling you Dick, right?) why don't you show your proof that SkyTiger is a shade name? And while you're at it, show me why Skytiger's posts are so harmful to the community if he was a shade.

Well, I wasn't trying to compare him to anyone, I was only trying to state there are reasons people are skeptical. I don't think it is right to try and call someone a shade and rag on them if they don't deserve it... and if someone is a shade and wants a fresh start, well maybe they should have it.
My post, as I was writing it, didn't seem rude. I was pointing out that it is very rare for someone to grasp as much of the game from the get go, which for many people will cause the shade alarm to sound. Other issues have come up with different people involving shades on the BB and in game...yet another reason why people get all crazy with the shade buisness. It might be helpful for someone new to the game and BB to understand why others get all bent out of shape over an AAR or a fight in the MA. I was definetly NOT trying to insinuate he is a Voss type character (obviously the extreme end of spectrum), but that these elements are a reason why people around these parts are on edge when it comes to things like this. That doesn't make it right, but it does exist.
They are fine AARs, and I enjoy any AAR that someone takes the time to write, and more should be encouraged to do so.
Either way, I think issues like this would be better handled in private or if bad enough with HTC.

That's fine, except there's really no reason to ring any alarm (do people have such a thing hooked up by USB to their PC or something?) when his posts don't even have any selling point. He's not pushing anything. For "SkyTiger" to be any sort of scam, there has to be something, anything, that he's trying to slip past people.. And what is that in ST's case? AARs? A guy's observations on how good a game this is?
If he came back two months from now and tried to use the good impression he'd made as leverage to then get us to buy into whatever scheme.. Then I'd agree he deserves a bite in the ass.

He might very well be if he gets some training but as it stands now, SkyTiger's stats and ability aren't stellar by any stretch of the imagination. Looking at who he's killed, only 1 was a good pilot, the rest are no better or worse than SkyTiger.

If LYNX gave some grief or pointers it was for a reason, unless he was getting a bit drunk (which would be unusual) or it was taken the wrong way as he can be a bit difficult to understand sometimes (at least to those of us that live across the pond).

It probably wouldn't have been any big deal if SkyTiger had left it to just smack talk on 200. But then he started in with the PMs to Lynx, after Lynx said hey, let's just play. After that, he posted this BB thread. He just wouldn't let it go. The whole thing is ridiculous. Let's move on.

I was absolutely terrible until December of Last year, then, I improved dramatically... Before, I had just gone in and flown, and somehow got better without going to the TA, then, I finally started getting help from people like AirFool, Rolex, and many many others I cannot name off the top of my head.
Hopefully, he doesn't do what I did, I hope he asks for help, gets trainers, and gets great by his 2nd or 3rd month, instead of me, waiting almost 2 years to finally get just below that "above average" line.

If you had taken the time to use the new stats page, you can see all the players SkyTiger has shot down this tour. The only 'good stick' listed as being shot down by SkyTiger was Lynx.
Nope he's shot down more then that ack-crack. I'm not going to name names but he's shot down some good sticks. Even if they aren't guys that dont vulch a lot, or stick stir until they reach their lines. I know some of these guys are good. Ive seen them. Scores? Ranks? They are all 1/2 phony anyway.
38 kills is the most he's gotten in any plane, the A6M5, which is a rather easy plane to fly, in fact easier to fly than the Spitfire. It's a very forgiving plane and one a new player can easily jump in and start turning, same with the Hurricane IIc and to a lesser extent the Bf 110c. So, it's really no surprise that a new player is able to get some kills in that plane. Also, if you had looked at his stats, it reflects not someone that is 'uber' but someone that is rather new to this game. The guy averages a little less than a kill per flight. That might make him good in your eyes but to me, it just shows someone that either starting out or not very good at all.
Except you never really up them except in defense now do you? And most of us, except for you ack-crack, dont get a 1 on 1 kill ratio for months.

Well, I've had about enough.
It's so enjoyable to log into a game I pay money for and get harassed by people who are jealous that a newcomer can do well. The ironic part is that if I totally sucked at this game, people wouldn't care. But since I DARE to actually maintain a positive score most days, I'm some sort of cloaked threat to AH2.

And if you didn't have your head up your butt, you'd have seen I got that 12+ years thing from someone else who was involved in the conversation. Something to the effect of "After 12+ years, LYNX can spot shades". But of course, to selectively further your own argument you leave that part out. As if I know or care who you are enough to keep track of how much you play.
That's the whole damn point. I've seen the term "dweeb" thrown around since the first TEN minutes I began playing. I've seen the term "Lala" too. Since when does it take some sort of expert or pro to begin using the same terms people use alongside me every day?
I stopped calling P-51s "Mustangs" on day three and just shortened it to Pony. How is that special, and who the heck are you to try and judge me? I've never bothered you Lynx, but when I point out that it's cowardly for someone to sit on a GV spawn with their gun pointed at the spawn spot, you had to jump in and say I picked up on the smack talk lingo.
Why am I the only one not allowed to use 200 to challenge people? Did you ever consider I typed that hoping the guy would stop to type for a few seconds so I could spawn in and nail him? Did you ever consider that I DO think it's a cowardly way to play, and I don't go for cheap kills? I don't HO unless absolutely forced to (IE: A zoomer wants to run 4k away, turn, make a HO then run again.. over and over), I don't try to vulch, and I won't follow wounded planes down pumping lead into them trying to take a kill.
I don't expect anyone else to act honorably, but I will when frustrated, sometimes point out cheap gameplay. I'm human. And you trying to take a shot at me didn't help.

SkyTiger, in an online community ur always gonna bump heads with people. WHen someone really starts getting to you, ignore them (if you're a thumb). Else, put their car on fire and mail them death threats- this is the best way to deal with all problems imo.

That's fine, except there's really no reason to ring any alarm (do people have such a thing hooked up by USB to their PC or something?) when his posts don't even have any selling point. He's not pushing anything. For "SkyTiger" to be any sort of scam, there has to be something, anything, that he's trying to slip past people.. And what is that in ST's case? AARs? A guy's observations on how good a game this is?
If he came back two months from now and tried to use the good impression he'd made as leverage to then get us to buy into whatever scheme.. Then I'd agree he deserves a bite in the ass.
You know, I pretty much agree there is no reason for "alarm." I have no idea what the issue is between him and LYNX, or with others.
I should have left the "voss" reference out, as it is such a different animal all together and in hindsight really has no place in this thread. It was a poor choice for illustration, which I regret.
My personal view, unless he does something deserving of criticism, shade or no shade, then I don't see the big deal. On the other hand, I can see how and why others may wonder about shades, be it squad admission or just looking for the guy they dislike. I'm not saying it is right, I'm just sayin.

I shouldn't have sworn. That's completely my fault. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. But the message remains the same.
This is a great game. It even has commercials on the History Channel. Yet it's so technical and requires a subscription that less than an optimal amount of people seem to be joining. I haven't seen any growth since I joined. And in my view, with such a xenophobic community, any players who are good will get chased away.
People: Do you like this game? Then why go through such efforts to drive someone to wanting to quit the game entirely. Do you really think I want to pay to be harassed daily? It's only due to the support of my squad and some really nice folks here on the BBS and in the game that I opted to stay when this stupid "shade" bullcrap started.
I'll be calling HTC tommorow to see what can be done about this.

1.) Nope. I've played other non-combat sims, and some kind of mod for IL-2 that had an obstacle course and such. If you want to count the Battlefield Series as "flight sim" then sure, but really.. BF isn't realistic at all. There's no physics.

Again, name one person other than Lynx that is even remotely considered to be good. Your mistake is comparing those other players against yourself, in that case even an offline drone will appear to be a 'good stick' to you.

It appears that's what he mostly does, up the planes for base or CV defense or to pick in TT. As Widewing pointed out, it's not that hard to fathom considering the planes Skytiger flies that he gets some kills.

I never said I believed he was or wasn't a shade, I just asked what's the big deal if he is. Is he hurting you or the communit with his AAR post? Is he thumping his chest on what an 'experten' he is? Do you have any definitive proof he isn't just a new player?

I'm not saying he's a shade or not, although I suspect he is, but if he were that would make him a liar. Most reasonable people don't condone lying beyond the little white lies that might save someone from hurt feelings, etc.
While this case might not be to the extreem of someone who claims to be a doctor but isn't (how would you feel about visiting that doctor?) it is a detriment to the community nonetheless as he would be dupping the entire community into believing that he's something he's not.
If he can't be trusted to tell the truth, what else might he not be trusted with?
On a larger scale, what's the difference between this and killing shade accounts? Neither "hurt" anyone. I guess we should get rid of community standards altogether then.

It's about the lack of respect being directed towards me in the game.
I would consider a lack of respect something like sending profane private messages to another player in the game. Or starting a thread about another players behavior when it is specifically against the bulletin board rules. Or walking into a new community and start going on a public tirade against one of the more respected community members.

So, I talk to the guy in Germany and he says the Japanese are kicking up a fuss, can I work with the guys in Australia and sub-contract instead to the guys in Germany so the Japanese won't kick up such a fuss, as it helps with working in Japan because I wouldn't really be working, I'd just be doing preliminary work to the subsequent work which the Japanese are kicking up a fuss about because I'm a contractor, and so the taxes are different.

All I have seen is accusations, no evidence of any kind. If he is Adonai, then I would expect someone who knows Adonai's voice to pipe up and make the claim that SkyTiger sounds just like Adonai did. I haven't heard anyone make that claim, have you?
Take Cmustard for instance... When he changed his name, he didn't fool anyone for very long. People knew his voice and busted him.
Personally, had never really had much contact with Adonai. In fact the extent of said contact was reading here on the BBS and one brief PM discussion in game where he was a pompous *rear* and I brushed him off.
I just don't see why there are so many people prepared to crucify this guy (SkyTiger) without anything more substantial. Something as simple as comparing his voice on VoX. Does that claim of street smarts work for you in court with the lawyers and a jury. Do you tell the ladies and gentlemen in the court room that it doesn't take a fancy college education to know that the defendant is guilty? Or perhaps do they like evidence instead?

LYNX, I think it's completely pathetic how you act towards me. As you claim, it's not that I can outfly and outfight you (Which I did on day 1 or 2) it's that I 'talk' like a vet here on the forum.
So who am I then? Since appearently all the true "vets" on here type up detailed AARs, why don't we just go look through old AARs and match it up with mine? Oh wait. There are none.
So if vets don't do AARs like mine, how does typing an AAR make me a vet?
I guess it's knowing what a barrel roll is. Or that the Zeke is nimble but doesn't dive well. Or.. *GASP* knowing what compression is. According to the jealous haters, knowing avionics makes me an AH2 vet.
Funny, because AH2 isn't the end all of flight sims. There are people other than your self-centered selves who know terminology, who know manuvers, who know WWII machinery.
I've read real-life AARs from WWII and have emulated them for the purposes of entertainment and getting pumped up for AH2 even when I'm not actually playing it. I've watched and listened to interviews with WWII vets, including pilots and amazingly enough I've picked up enough to be able to type a good AAR.
So what is your proof?
1.) That I actually did well my first week?
Well that would just make you into some jealous fools, wouldn't it? Assuming that someone good with a stick and with a little practice can't dogfight is absolutely ridiculous. If you flew sims against some of my buddies, you'd be contemplaing suicide because they're a dang sight better than me.
2.) That I write good AARs?

So here's my stand. Either find some evidence that I'm a shade and out me, OR stop being amazinhunks, come over to Knights and talk to me for a while with vox. You'll soon realize I'm NOT your old enemy. I'm NOT some ace from bygone days. I just happen to be good at video games.

So, last Wednesday I roll a Hurricane Mk. I in TT. I see a Knight Hurricane and Niki, with two Ponies out front. I engage the Hurricane. I pepper the crud out of him all the while, dodging his Niki wingmans failed pick attempts. I got slow enough to where I deliberately stalled and SkyTiger augured. The Niki was shot down later by someone else. I asked "Why didn't you call off the Niki that was less than 800 from you the whole time? We could have had a good fight since I was alone." His reply: "What niki?" I also rolled a second hop and you not only were out flown again, you ran after being pilot wounded by my Hurry Mk. I. I also shot you down again while in an La7.
Should I mention the part where you expected anyone tuned to 200, to actually believe "you had Icons turned off"? You're an excuse maker when cornered and you don't realize it.
Moral of this story? Why lie about a wingman? Here's why I think you're full of caca del toro, you cannot be honest over a simple wingman. How in the hell is anyone else supposed to believe you about ANYTHING you say?
1.) You are, by far one of the most condescending, attention starved, reward needing, selfish people I have EVER come across in life. I'm sorry but you are too generous with the "You're just jealous!" drivel. I can already tell that you'll wear out the word "Xenophobe". You also misspelled easier words than Xenophobe (bold face in your text), so I would have to say there is some "cut and pasting" going on.
2.) You failed to leave our fights out of your AAR's deliberately, because, you were embarrassed. You had "nothing to gain by posting it." Your AAR's are very "convenient" in what you convey.
3.) LYNX's screen shot pretty much sunk your whole reason of "defense". You're beyond busted, HTC intervention or not.
4.) I never read your AAR's. Honestly AAR's don't interest me and I never commented in them (I just ignored them and what folks were saying). But I'm glad I didn't read them, because you're a sham.

For the record, you never once had a decent gun solution on me. Roll your film and notice that once I was on your six, you couldn't shake me. Even with your "wingman". How am I supposed to know what friendlies around me are flying? It shows NAMES, not PLANES. And after someone explained how to toggle, I STILL play with names because a friendly name means more to me than a friendly plane type.

I have read the posts. I have watched the films. MY gut instinct is SkyTiger isn't a shade. Granted he did pop off on 200 when he should have kept quiet or at least muted his response. Karaya's radio messages indicate in the first film he didn't believe that SkyTiger was wounded when he broke off the fight. The blood on the canopy proves he was. Hurricane MKI is good at that. As far as calling off his countrymen, I wouldn't have either. It wouldn't enter my mind unless they asked. My mind would be fully involved with the kill or not getting killed. He did post the films.
Picking up the terminology doesn't take long. Most of it was being used back in the AW days. Just updated for new plane types. If one has an interest in fighter planes one probably has some knowledge of ACM just from reading.
AAR's have been posted since AW days. Those that remember Scavenger remember he posted them when he was new. They are a hoot to read to this day.
I think you guys need to cut him some slack. Of course I may be missing some information and will end up wishing I kept my mouth shut. :D
SkyTiger, I think at this point, you may want to keep a lower profile......and don't tune to 200. I don't most of the time.

Anything is possible. I chewed up twintail yesterday P-38 vs P-38 "tho he'll deny it" and he got owned. And I truly suck at this game but everyone has moments. But oh the whining afterwards by TT :cry I actually had to squelch him.

I've never quite understood how someone's in game experience can be ruined by "harrassment" in the form of text - just ignore it, don't read it, fly with your squad or whoever you like to fly with, enjoy the sim, and forget the idiots harrassing you. Why is that so hard to do?

I remember when people were mad at me for flyin my D9. It just made me do it more =p. I also remember when la-7 and spits ho me and then force me to break it off w/e i'm doing and make seperation. While they chase me around for 10-15 minutes as I make wide turn to go back into the furball zone w/ them on my tail. I'd do it just because it's more fun pissing them off and not giving em da kills=p. And there aint a damn they can do about it ! which is the beautiful part. The more then talk on 200 the sweeter it feels!

LyeEL, I knew he was pilot wounded. That was the second sortie of mine and I lit up the cockpit. The Niki really came into play on the 1st and 3rd encounters.
Again, I've NEVER called him out for being a "shade". I just hate liars and he is trying to play the role of "the wounded puppy" and I won't cut him slack on that. He knows he got caught in that lie and still refuses to admit it.
