You guys oversimplified things a good bit.

He hasn't flown his time in one mustang.
To my knowledge (I didn't ask) and understanding he said he had "stick time" not a pile of hours.  Even I've had a ride in a B-17 and got to sit up front for a while and look out the window.  I wouldn't expect to see an LOA in a B-17 (which someone mentioned earlier) if you're looking there too.

The airplane his father was a parner in, he told me is now in a european country.  Western, Eastern, Baltic or Adriatic...not telling.

I'd go back and re-read your posts and not with your torch lit.  All the info you need is there and to see you guys posting the wrong things is somewhat amusing to me because I know you're not even close.

Here's what I did.  After posting in some of the same threads as Straiga, I saw em online.  I called out on range vox and said hello.  Got to talking and was a pretty nice guy.   Sent him some emails and just kept in relative contact (maybe once a week).

I'd made a decision to go to Las Vegas (after inquiring to him about weather...which was sorely mistaken.  It has rained every friggin day) because of the 'usual' weather patterns and different flying conditions (mountains, high density alt training.  Stuff that was only theory and I wanted to get some actual practice.)

Then...this whole controversy started.  I'd "known" straiga for a short time and I had no reason to doubt he was legit.  I'd asked him some P-51 systems type questions that nobody should know unless you've flown one...then checked them out with a guy I know fly's a P-51 because I've watched him in an airshow ripping the airfield at 30 feet.  That's where I am coming from in this whole thing.  Instead of standing up and saying "on behalf of stragia" I've only said my opinions and tried hard to just take a neutral stance.  I'm not an idiot, I had no proof other than his word but when dealing with people I'm going to consider a friend that does hold weight with me.  I stood by what I said, and didn't turn out to be wrong.

Whatever you guys want to bicker about now is fine by me.  By my view you were all questioning his ATP certificate, type ratings and P-51 authorization.  All of that was settled in just a few minutes of flipping through some pages.  Done deal.

As for the torque threads, I'd talked on the phone with Hitech for a little under an hour for a while and since I come from a flying background with him as an engineer...we agree to disagree.  We each understand what we are saying, but the root causes behind why things happen are not agreed upon.  Fine by me, civil and no name calling or arguing.

And also, just a rhetorical question...

Why should anyone be obligated to prove themselves in any of your eyes just because you say so?

That photo of ME is from my first year of school at Ohio State.  It's about 4 years old now.

I've also posted photos of Wintertime flying in Ohio, I doubt that straiga would have any of those.

And for what it's worth, Kegger...this is a personal attack.  I think you're a thick headed moron to think that we're the same person. Enough peole know me and enough people know straiga (IIRC you claimed to) to know we are seperate people.  If I don't get away with that, you don't get away with all these threads.

And the BS starts to unravel..

Soon the General/Colenel USAF father will be rediced to Nellis AFB junior assistant Janitor..

The F14 pilot carrier will be passeed of a s a misunderstanding of his job showing the Top Gun move in a threater once long ago...

Conveniently the 500 hour P51 is now in some far away location, which he cannot disclose for no appadremt reason..

What a load of crap..

Looking at the stories straiga posted and the obvious lies he has already been cought in are disturbing. If he has such a shallow self image that he needs to embellish a record to such a degree I wonder about how rational he is as PIC or co pilot of a commercial airliner.

Golfer, you really need to distance yourself from this type of behavior as well if you are serious about having a career in the front office of an airliner.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I Have spoken  to Straiga  many many times about flight and becoming a pilot , i have his home phone # and his full name , JB11 even went to his house and spent time with him , on a visit to Vegas.

Straiga is an all out great guy to me and others , and yes he does get a kick out of all this ill bet , as for him not posting any results , I Dont know .

but over all the guy to me is one in a trillion who will help out anyone in need as I was in the past .

He doesnt have to PROVE a thing to anyone in here , this is a GAME , and you all asking him to post things to prove who he is  to me is wrong IMO .

guys give it up and go on and leave him alone , if he says he has a 10" noodle you going to want pics and profiles and doc's of that too just to prove it ?

I have flown online with Straiga but not with you. I do not know you at all. So me thinking you are straiga souldnt be all that strange to you, since you have pretty much absorbed the brunt of Straigas lies in here. Yet you still defend him like he was your brother. Just doesnt make sence.
Next I asked what flight school you were at. You told us you went to Vegas to get your ATP. This is a simple rating to get. Hell we do it all the time here. It is just a knowlege test and five hours flight time in a multi engine aircraft. But now you went to vegas just for the practice.
Your a pilot going after your ATP, rain shouldnt be the issue. Yet I guess it is. I may be a thick headed moron, but after eight years as a Military Police officer (and counting, reserves currently), three of which I was a Military Police Investigator when I have a hunch I roll with it. I have been a flight instructor for the past five years, been flying a total of seven. So nobody is going to come in here and make claims like " I soloed at 14" or " I have over 7,000 hours rotor time alone" and impress me.
It is pretty sad you had to resort to name calling. That shows how bright you really are. You get upset at me becuase YOU are stone walling and nobody can figure out why. I would think as a "pilot" which you claim to be you would be more than willing to help clear this matter up. Yet you seem to bask in the enjoyment of letting all this get drawn out. I just dont see how a normal, well adjusted, stable person could do that. Yet you let it go on.
I also notce you jumped on the torque bandwagon. Jesus what did they teach you at OSU? I mean it was sad really, that someone who claims to be flying for 33 years can understand physics 101, nore could you. You spoke with Hitech on the phone about the issue....for an hour? How on earth could you BS your way though a one hour phone call talking about somthing you clearly proved you know nothing about?
So I think I figured all of this out. After hearing about your B100 time. I had my doubts. I mean come man. You jumped from an Piper aztec to a turbo prop Beech Kingair B100? What a leap. I just hope you had your multi-engine instrument rating. Unless you are going to tell me you flew it under 18,000 feet the whole time.... So far in my seven years of flight the ONLY turbo prop I have even flown (hell I was even the PIC) was the PC-12 single engine. And that was only becuase Epps Aviation's demo pilot was out sick for three weeks. So I was sent down to Orlando to go though the PC-12 course Platus gives on the aircraft. Then again I am just a moron.
But I tend to think you are so far up Straigas bellybutton becuase you yourself are just as full of sh-- and man wouldnt it be great if you had yourself someone to stick up for you when you were called out. So I will make a deal with you. You find out the N number on straiga's dads P-51 and I will fly you out here to Atlanta and I will pay for you to get your ATP rating. Hell I will even be your instructor. That is if you are even qualified to go though the course. Thats 1,300$s not really for me since we will be scrubing things like instructor fees and what nots. But none the less you will be able to get your ATP rain free. You just supply us with that little bit of info and I will make it happen. You can reach me at area code 678-663-1548. Ask for Wells. You would be a moron not to take this offer Golfer... hey I made a ryme. How about that.

You are right he does not have to prove anything, but as of right now unless he does, he will never live this down.

He will be another Voss/Mrblack type, that everyone will never take seriously again.

His call.

If HT had written a pr0n simulator and straiga had critiqued certian aspects of that simulator based on "expert" knowledge, then yes, he should put up or shut up.

...as it is he just plain shut up, so little dick for him.

So you sort of know him then?

Do you have anything to offer that would validate his claims of 500 hours of Mustang time?

You may not be the only one with his full name and phone number.

:rofl  lmFao! Just did another search.

He's living with a flight attendant I think! And a jet F/A at that.

Now I really do believe he's an airline pilot. This is too funny; man, the stories I know of pilots and f/a's......

no validation of flight time , other than he did say he has flown the pony,  i did not feel the question of flight time warranted the statement he gave .

And I have seen pic's of said Pony , and I have seen pic's of Straiga in the pit of a commercial jet , and pic's of where he has flown an air ambulance lately , and even spoke to him at said job when he was flying said air ambulance.

I find Straiga a very good freind , and seeing that he is being drug out onto the coals  bothersome , again just because he hasnt proven anything doesnt mean that he actually has not done it .

How many times have you went fishing and cought that sweet one that got away , only to tell it to someone who didnt believe you and called you a liar.

Of cours their may be some facts that were left out of the equasion , such as you were pullin so hard on the rod that you broke the line.

But you did hook him and brought him to the surface , and only you and God were their , and you are the only one who knows the truth.

Hey 35,

Honestly he is the one who has put himself on the cross. Why should he act in such a way which he knows is just going to create controversy. All people want to know is that his claims as they directly relate to the game are valid.

As many have said, if he is such a good guy etc, why is he dragging the community through this BS.

He obviously makes not secrets about his P51 time, so why should he be so clandestine now.

None of it adds up and honestly I don't care how many people come out of the woodwork on his behalf, if he can't speak for himself as he has so adamantly done in the past, then all of his prior comments and claims are moot.

Also, as one person has said (Kegger I think) it would be great if he was a seasoned 51 pilot. As I am sure many of us would have valued his opinions. Now even if he is telling the truth, he has acted in such a way, that his further posts and opinions will mean very little.
