I YOU think about it ... not too long ago, HTC create the "its too Uber-Hard to bomb" procedure ... and guess what ... base captures still happened ... and maps still moved.

As I said before..those that wish to furball pick a field and announce on text that its off limits to bombers.

Come on FiLtH ... 30 seconds after that, dozens of buff formations would have lifted and the target would be .... betcha can't guess.

In addition to all that, why when someone says that the FHs should not have been taken down right before a capture you guys make it a "all you want to do is furball" argument?  Taking them down before a capture has nothing to do with furballing and a lot with winning the war.

Anybody who doesn't care about completely destroying their k/d ratio knows that vulchers will run out of bullets before the defenders will run out of planes. Simple math.

Funny thing about taking down the FHs at these bases... sometimes.. actually, quite often, those with blood lust will move on to the next field hoping to get the defenders rushing in low to get the goons.. which is exactly what is needed for the base capture. Duh..  Herding cats?

So. add me to the hangar banger/milkrunner/ 'insert derogatory egg-laden moniker here'  category.

What's with always blaming the bomber guys for dropping the FHs.  A single bomber pilot can't do it with our field setup and if the fight lasted so long it held up the front line for the landgrabbers, you know it will happen soon, move on.

I have no sympathy for vultures, furballers yes but not vultures, so Filth go ahead and kill the hangers at any vultched field you see, you have my permission but if a three day furball is still in progress north of A25 on Mindnao, leave em alone please.

I'm not saying this to insult you...  As I have nowhere near the experience of that many C47 runs...  But I've attempted to bring troops to three bases.

I got through all three times.  The last one was just last camp.  And guess what?  The FHs were up for that one, and enemies were flying around.

Of course, I'm not an idiot.  I don't fly in a straight line right to the target "hoping" the field will be down by the time I get there.  I hang out, under dar, off to the side outside a reasonable vis range, near the town, sure, but not in a direction that anyone is expecting a goon to be.  

Then, when "town down" is called, I fly in and drop.  Really simple actually.  The troops are in the map room a few minutes after the town goes down.

I'm not saying you don't do this - I'm just saying I haven't seen many goons do this...  If any.

And the BK shot is a comment on your squad's well-known and often repeated propensity to concentrate on air-to-air (furballing) aspect of the game, and your also well-known and often repeated disdain for anyone that disagrees with your position. If the shoe fits, wear it.

As a general rule I avoid commenting on any thread generated by a toolshed hero (I could care less about who "wins" the digital dirt land grab. However, I am a bit amazed you'd throw rocks at the BK's....overall as good a bunch of sticks {not just as furballers} as you'll find. Tactical aircombat is the heart and soul of this game...only thing the bases do is help frame the fight.

Sooner or later the sequel to AH will come out....[bulldozers low] and you'll have a game you can really sink your teeth into:)

Nothing gets done when u post or use range channel in angry.  I feel your frustration because i was their with u.  Begging my team for over 10 minutes at a59 to kill the last town ack so I can capture it was quite frustrating.   Only 2 have one la7 up from a cap field kill both m3's in town.  Which happen 2 be you and I in that m3.  

Just know this filth, many here including myself will help u capture the field.  I hope u continue your bombering and not let the dumb comments that spilled out over range channel stop U.

Correct, you do not have the proper depth  of personal experience to draw upon.  Do 97 more goon runs and then share your conclusions.  Also make sure that many of them are combat situations, not field sneaks.

Not a slam, just saying three runs doesn't   really do goon running justice.

Was not flaiming you.  Just poking you a little .  I think we know each other enough to have some fun.  As far as the CAF, I just did not make the connection at the time so I was really asking who the CAF is.  Did not say anything bad about it.  He may be your friend but his most did not make any sense to me.

As far as the spelling goes, this is perfectly correct BBS speling and I did use the official HT 'spel cheeekir' to find any mistakes.  It worked just fine
