How many here are "long-timers".

Yah, I'm kinda new to this as well.  Started playing when you paid for each minute back on GeNie during the first Airwarrior set up (remember the wire-frame airplane and terrain?).  Off and on since then through Warbirds and now AH....

DOH!  Yeah, I remember a $500.00 month once when I switched to a 9600 baud modem and was playing Kesmai's AW and Battletech nonstop.  YOWCH.  That cured me for a bit...

And I still r teh n00b, lol!

Bunch of old farts.

Not sure if it was '96 or '97.......was a game called Flying Circus (I think...all I really remember of it was crappy graphics, white dot tracers and AKs all over me)
Got into WB at version 1.1, flew that until AH beta and never looked back since.
Currently serving out the tail end of  a 12 month self imposed online flight sim ban, will be back making you lot's gunsights look more interesting real soon .

Started with TSN (The Sierra Network, later INN) Reb Baron back in '93. Anyone remember that gross game they had called "Boogers"? :) Then Warbirds in 95-96 (I remember the huge monthly bills), then Fighter Ace when it was brand new, Flying Circus when it was new (and was flying their WW2 beta when they quit the business), Fighter Duel on Kali, EAW on both Kali and "The Zone", Aces High on day one of beta, early Sept. 1999 (as "AlgyFT"). The rest is history.

I'd make a guess I started a 2 week trial in the summer of 2001 or 2002.  I know I went through 2 2 free trials, then went to H2H for 2 years before I went to the MA again and was directed to the BBS by Artlaw.  I think I'll stick with the conservative answer of 2002.

Started AW in '94. Version 1.14 (for DOS). SVGA had just been released but I wasn't using it. The nme planes were still little 'T's which rotated to show their movement relative to you.

As far as I know the only people still playing who I actually flew with then are Phan (Rhino), GE and Fencer.

Started  95/96 on AOL Fighter ops then AW all the way to the end then over to AH, and bin there ever since.

Had dropped into WB and WW2OL once or twice but never signed on for any tours with them.

Had several different handles over those times, but couldnt be bothered(or capable) rememberin them though.
