Skuzzy, I've tried compatibility mode myself, no luck.

I've tried putting in a different vid card (went from 200 to 400 series by Nividia), no luck.

I've tried putting in different amounts of ram, no luck.

When you are about to crash, you'll see strange patches on the ground like this.





The mountains will literally move around, I had one plop itself over the enemy airfield and over the town and tended to follow me around. It wasn't solid, I could fly through it. I wanted to do more testing, but I eventually CTD. If you look at those screen shots, some of the trees are hovering above the ground since the raised ground isn't being displayed properly.

xactley what I get. Sometimes looks like I am flying under terrain.

I will add that I use Win7 64 bit, with an ATI 5830 and an Intel C2D (E7400) processor, and I just got done flying for several hours tonight after applying the windows updates this morning (and rebooted several times since for various reasons).. and I have had NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.

Even during FSO I was fine, while my squadmates were dropping (disco/appcrash/whatever) left and right.

We did have a lot of Vox sticking/cutting out issues though.

I reformatted my computer again, didn't do any updates and I'm still having the same problem.

Either its a hidden update in Windows, or its AH.

I have autoupdate enabled, installed all of the recent MS updates, and have Java installed.  I'm running Windows XP SP 3.  No problems here.

got the same sceens Del,
looks like Nvidea, Win7 64bit and have the Win7 updates on running into trouble. When putting all together it seems to me we have an issue with the update from this thuesday, i will deinstall this one and will see if it might be a 'quick' solution, after that i turn the update service from automatic to OFF

lets see if i get back my stable AH2 platform.

FWIW, my first crash started on the 10th, and I didn't do the Windows Updates until the 11th.

I also only crash in the current LW Blue Map.  I can play in the current LW Orange map without any issues.

I'm using Win 7 64-bit, but with an ATI 5850 card. 

However, I don't get the same graphics glitches before a crash.  The game just freezes.

Skuzzy, if you'd like, I can post screenshots of the various events in the Event Log.

Looking through those posted dxdiags, I see some huge paging files compared to mine - Page File: 729MB used, 5410MB available ...  :eek:

I have a lot of services stopped, including bitlocker, automatic updates (windows update is on manual), home group provider, remote access, superfetch and some others.
