That seems to be the current plan now. Any opposition is "interference" and must be silenced one way or another. Sounds pretty Putin-ish

Pretty undeniable at this point and shows you just how scary things have gotten.  Especially when everyday citizens (some on this board) ignore what they see if that  means that their side wins.  Luckily (maybe too late) more and more pro-first amendment liberals with clout are risking their careers and speaking out.

Do you think that's the biggest issue in this election?

Serious question as they are certainly trying to make it seem so..

I could care less about election issues. I am asking about individual's right to privacy.

Basically any power not specifically granted to the federal government is reserved to the states. Now since abortion is not mentioned in the US constitution it becomes a state problem. The problem arises when women travel from a state that’s illegal to one where it’s legal. Once that activity crosses state lines it becomes a federal matter.

So you're saying a women's rights to privacy is not equal througout the USA? What if they decided that men's rights to get a vasectomy were to be decided by state?

I'm sure you've argued this repeatedly as have I and since it is deemed by some as political on these premises I won't argue it with you further. I will again say though that anyone who advocated forcing people to get vaccinations is a yuge hypocrite if they take your position on abortion.

I do not believe a woman's right to control her body is political (even though some goverment officials seem to want to make it so). As to vaccines and I believe you mean the COVID vaccine, I was not aware anyone was obliged to get the shot. To those who did not I am happy you survived.

years ago they warned us about old men who wanted to control women, except they were of a different religion.  now it became true in a lot of states, old men are controlling women and telling them what to do.

It might be that a state could do that.  I don't think the Federal Government could, as that doesn't seem to be one of its enumerated powers.

States do seem to have the ability to determine, in that state, what medicines I can and cannot obtain, whether or not I can practice medicine, practice law, drive a car, gamble, buy alcohol, be a home builder, start a nail salon, run a restaurant, drive a bus, sell produce from my farm, hunt deer, go fishing, build a shed in my back yard, have a swimming pool, play music outdoors, put a pond on my land, etc.

If a state sucks too much, I have the legal right to move.  (Which I did 3 years ago.)

There's great disagreement over it because some people (men and women) feel 100% that abortion is murder.  And other people (men and women) feel 100% that it is not.

I think it's best determined by states.

Start naming me all the laws that restrict a man’s personal decisions concerning his own body?

Take your time.

Sorry but it is an issue for a minority of women...not a bs promise to go against the SC ruling and try to reinstate it somehow...

They are just side stepping the huge mess they created that is staring at everyone right in their eyes ...and wallets..

We might be just too naive and gullible to fall for it and elect and even a larger puppet administration this go round..

Either way there's gonna be a bunch of upset ppl when their side loses .. add a good false flag at that time and the possibilities are endless

So many good candidates destroyed over the last 50 years when abortion is brought up.

It’s only one issue of many but it’s all we hear about.

So much talent lost that could have helped america.

If the current administration loses, I can see a new and improved type of demonstration on 1/6 this time..so does dc it seems..

The riots before then after November results will make the 2020 summer of peaceful riots actually look peaceful

What kinda of restraint or encouragement do you think would come out of the losing left and it's bias media? Concerning to say the least..

I take it you do not live in the US. I don't know where you are from but here people were kicked out of the military and fired from their jobs if they refused the "vaccination". Those who refused were reviled by politicians and celebrities. Death wishes were made publicly. All of those who participated in that witch hunt forever lost their right to talk about a "woman's body".
