I honey-mooned in Spain and saw a lot of Euro-Trash vacationing there.....ha ha...I guess Spain is a cheap vacation for them but flying to the US is another matter.....we don't see much of that here.......

Seriously, we have too many ignorant people in this country. At least when you're ignorant about something admit it. sheesh. Not most Americans though. They'll think they're right, or worse, know they have no clue but form an opinion and open up their mouths (and promptly stick their feet right on in!)

I've traveled a lot to Europe, Latin America, Asia etc...and I have seen the ugly american too. Usualy some union laboror that had a few too many drinks and spouting off like a few octives too high. I think more or less that the more educated the person the more likely he/she will be considerate and respectful in a forgien country. Oh ya, there are tons of Euro trash..I mean tons. People in the US tend to think just because they live in Europe that they all got class.....no way....like 70% of the people overthere are dumb rednecks like here....they just speak English w/ an accent. You don't see them because they don't come here much but they see our garbage because many have the money to travel in this country....

About americans, yep, they are the most innocent people I've ever meet, only their ignorange is bigger then their inocentness, the most extrange thing is that they seemed happy this way, for them, that's the best way to have a happy life.

About british tourism here, 99% of them just are looking for sun, and they try to pay just the cost of that. Never seen a single one in a good restaurant, and believe me, here we have very good ones

Fishu you have insulted me....I am not European I am American Damn it!!!! Here's why I'm not European:

1) I don't have rotten teeth.
2) Don't smoke five packs a day.
3) Don't have 6 weeks "vacation" per year
4) I must work for a living
5) I don't live in a welfare state and pay 70% taxes.
6) I don't take 2 hour lunches and complain about the US every day.
7) I'm not consumed by jealously w/ regard to the supreme dominance of the US.

Some year ('bout 10) ago, I was in U.S.A. (San Francisco, CA), I met a girl, and she asked me:

"you have a strange accent, where are you from?"

Naso: "I am from Italy"

Girl: "Italy? It is on the East coast? witch state?"

) "Italy, in Europe"

Girl : (

) "Europe??? where is in the States?"

Man, I was so shocked that I did'nt spoke for the remainings of the night.

And that it's true, it really happened.
