There are minimum salaries defined though, so thats not so big of a difference.
It's more of a question what happens to unemployament of nations own citizens, when there are foreign workers possibly taking their job.
I'd suppose they wouldn't take as many higher paid jobs though, since I don't think polish workers have so good educational background.
(or whats the fuzz about polish goverment budgets?)

It's comparable to the fear there was when Spain entered the EU.

Well atleast in Sweden we ALLREDY see alot of Polish workers in the "low-payment" areas, such as construction etc... The differance is that they are here illigal.. Alot more will come after the EU-membership.

The poles are EXELLENT craftsmen, construction work and such... And they are not afraid for hard work...

Spelling changes.  So if people type 'per say' in place of 'per se', it will become an official word.

Since more and more people are using computers and the internet, I think the english language is going to become more phonetic.

Beet1e, thanks for the nice advise, but I'm ok.

:)

Edit:  The post that is missing was not inflammatory, really.  Who knows, maybe I botched it somehow.

Here's a couple more that have begun to get to me:
  • Kilt - instead of killed.
  • People who don't understand the difference between "affect" and "effect".
