he said he had only 47 hours 2 days before the checkride. that's very little. the national average is 80hours to get your PPL.

i find it hard to believe that it takes people 80 hours to just get their ppl

maybe im a little more advanced (i had all my requirements done at 25 hours, and i soloed at 4.3) but every student that my instructor has had who's gone for the checkride went with between 40-45 hours.

i'm at 32 right now, just flying x-cs for fun. i cant imagine needing to be any more ready then this

80 hours?  Maybe if the person is special needs or spreading their flying out over a couple years.  40 hours is the average for most of my friends.

This isn't about mia. This is about his instructor.

Oh and PS:  I think that her 'wanting to talk about it on Thursday' is a clear indicator that your foot is in the door.  If she were honestly happy with her fiancee she wouldnt be 'meeting' you to 'talk' about an 'email' you sent her.

She wants your junk man - dont blow it - let her feel like shes in control of the situation - let her talk and only open your mouth when youre asked a direct question.  Always answer those questions with direct answers; Yes, No, Absolutely work... "I think... I guess... I love... nah... nevermind..." will make her clam dry up quick.

In any event, I dunno how comfortable I'd be in a relationship with a girl who flirted her bellybutton off and/or screwed around with another guy (you) while she was engaged.  Fortunately for you, lust is much more applicable than love in this situation.
