Howdy HT!  The hate in this thread summoned me back from the underworld. :D

It's been ages since I've seriously played a WWII flight sim, but I have to admit AH 2.0 looks and feels mighty sweet! I'm gonna have to pick up a decent sick and throttle this weekend and start working off the years of rust. :)

I can already tell that Slo and I will be da very best of friends!

*Wave* to Dok, Quarters and the rest of the old guys who managed to stay alive this long. :)

My dark side (the side well hidden) has always wanted to be a 4Q.

Alas .... my light (pale) side belongs to VF-17.

Hey Verm. I fly for the Rooks with a bunch of the squealing Pigs and other names from the past. I'll look for you online. Get a VOX headset too ... it makes a huge difference.

The hardest thing to get back is gunnery. The SA, flying skills, and Hate never really fade.

Just wanted to get in, I started way back when aol was pay per hour, I remember getting first charge card bill after 1 1/2 monthes and hiding it from the wife mostly muttering, oh chit, oh chit, 1 1/2 months of augering into the runway trying to takeoff, and shooting at the same teammates and not knowing that all that text yelling was aimed at me lol.
Great bunch of guys in those days, still thank NB (Fidel and whoever his other six split personalities were :) ), sehob, Worid, buncha WM number dudes, for having the patience to teach us newbs during those days.

All this talk of olden days got my old brain cells working.

Does anyone remember a series of posts on the AW BB about a guy who worked at NASA.  I believe the posts were made in the 1995-6 time frame but were about the early days of NASA.

Rememeber then as being some of the funnier things I had seen.

The peices are starting to fall into place, grasshopper. You know what you have to do.

Do you mean "Scavenger" in the 1993 time frame?

The Musketeers website has them availalble online.
