The numbers have been higher in the CT than they have in while, which isn't saying much. Point being, I don't think the friendly collisions are the culprit. I've only heard one person against it so far, hardly accounts for the bulk of players.

Is the high player number now in the double digits?

the CT has been seeing around 30 for the past few weeks  It was building nicely until this plane set.  at some point the CT staff will start to feel the natural rythym of the place sadly as they are mostly white boys who can't dance it may take them some time yet.

It is.  This setup is an exception to recent trends; see previous posts of Eagler and Storch for what are probably the best explanations.

On a broader plane (as it were), the CT was never meant to rival the MA.  We like to have more numbers than we do, but I doubt that anyone has ever expected to top 100 players at any one time.

Your constructive suggestions are welcome, and appreciated, Grunherz.  I for one would like to hear them.

"my flying time" = in the am before work btwn 0600 and 0730

and after supper 1830 until about 2000 EST (bedtime)

the only time the numbers are in double digits on each team is after that, as I have seen it on occasion during the weekend

used to have great fights with Hijacker and Tankman before work ..
it only takes a few to have a good fight but a few is more than zero

Their may be a boost after tonight, if they stick around will be the trick. If they arent run off like too damn many before them.

I've had some frsutrating CT experiences in the past, but once I found out when the regulars fly (Tues and THurs, right?), things changed dramatically for me. I've had a blast,  and found any number of fights that equalled or exceeded my skill level. On those nights, it seems CT is much easier to find a good fight in than MA.

As a relative outsider, I wonder how successful a "universal squad night" might be? Rather than trying unsuccessfully to reach critical mass every night, and seeing people get disillusioned enough to give up on CT (as I almost did), would it be possible to publicize Thursady nights or something, so folks get a positive experience?
