Personally I prefer to fight bish because they turn out to bring better fights and more even because they dont go up to the 20k that the rooks do and find that the bish form the perfect furballs with the knights.  If Im not correct thought I believe most of the bish are on in the morning and in the afternoon.

Last night was fighting mostly rooks for the night.  Went to furby island thinking it will be good furballs.  Ended up being bish didnt even bother with it and it was basically knights vs rooks.  First flight of the night it is 3 rooks vs me.  I ended up winning that gang somehow then get picked.  Next flight I get 2 more then get picked.  After that I was lucky to get 1 without getting picked and then I had a couple squaddies that were trying to get coalt with rooks.  They ended up going to 30k and were still looking up at the rooks!  While they were climbing up there I go into a fight then had 10 rooks alone dive down from probably 15k and swarm me.

After that pretty much pissed me off I went to fight the bish which ended up brining the perfect furball of the night and made my night happy.  I salute you bish for bringing the usually the best fights of the night.

i think you guys have more skills in that SQD armored  with the best fighters created by MA,  than all bish  combined, Why don't you make a 4th team,"BKops" to balance the game ?!!.  But i understand is more fun , killing bish nobs, we are flying in circles like those drunk drones in TA,

If you're looking for a good fight in fighers, it's always been Bish vs Knights.

If you want a good high alt. fight flying a bomber, (not wanting to get swarmed) go against Rooks.  They've always got 3 or 4 guys at 30k but you'll almost never find a Bish up that high.
Easy in-game again.

No need to bash our squad, I was a bishop before a lot of you were even playing this game. Hell ghi, you and I were squaddies years ago.

I spoke of this in the MA one night, I will re-iterate it here. Each country has a particular 'feel'. That 'feel' is largely determined by the character, playstyle and personality of the individuals that comprise that country regularly. It has been since I've played AH and continues to be Bishland's first priority to take fields. Taking fields is paramount even at the expense of fun, fights and surviving. While this may be attractive to some people, especially buffers , GV'ers and pork n' auger types it is not attractive to your upper echelon fighters jocks and new players who really just want to fight air to air and could care less about the land-grab game.

Compound this land-grab-centric playstyle with some weird pre-pubescent ostrasization of anyone and everyone who attempts to join Bish to help out and you have a recipe for disaster. There are two things Bish can do collectively to remedy the situation.

1) Stop being salamanders, stop accusing everyone of being spies who decides to switch from their regular country to help you for an evening. Take is from someone who fights you all the time, you need all the help you can get, especially in the fighter pilot dept.

2) Here's your new mantra, live by it, breathe by it, tatoo it onto your forheads and your numbers probelm will soon be rectified...

"Fly for the fights not for the fields!"

The single biggest distinction between the Rooks, Knights and Bishops is quite succinctly this...Rooks and Knights preceive and treat the land-grab aspect of AH as the superfluous back-drop to the far more important air to air combat aspect. Bishops treat and perceive air to air combat as the superfluous back-drop to the far more important land-grab game. This may seem like a subtle difference but it has profound implications from individual egagements with and for Bishops all the way up to the entire war itself and how it plays out and 'feels'. People like myself who have played these games for well over a decade are privvy to these subtle nuances and are affected by them and make our playtime decisions largely based on them.

The incredible irony for Bishops is that they are so land-grab-centric and have such a reluctance and/or disdain for actual air to air combat that they lack the skills necessary to hold onto their precious land. So, in a very real way, in a funny twist of logic, if Bishops collectively decide to become more fight-centric like Rooks and Knits they will actually become better at holding and keeping their land and as an ancillary benefit their numbers and quality will improve proportionately.

So much so, ive decided to stick it out with the Knits for a while as the Rooks hardly need me and I wont be missed anyway.

We miss you:D  If you ever come back Rook you are welcome to fly with us anytime. Ive been hounding LesterJ to join for a while now anyway. BTW, my squad did a tour of the 3 countries a while back. We pretty much had the had impressions you did. Knits and Rooks seem about the same, but something is off with the Bish right now.

They've always got 3 or 4 guys at 30k but you'll almost never find a Bish up that high.

Who are these alt monkey Rooks people are always *****ing about? I never see these fellows.

Hey everyone, its me!!  Anyways about bish #s and taitors.  I think i speak for most of the GOOD Bish when i say i love being the underdogs, cuz when we win, its because we ALL worked together.  Plus there are always more targets out there for us GOOD guys!  WIth the traitor thing, for as long as i have played AH wheather in H2H or MA, it always happens.  Just something you need to roll off your shoulder.  Just my 2 cents!

Egle31st

P.S. To all my buds and enemies alike in the game, i shall return VERY soon.  Hopefully by the begining to mid Sept!  Cant wait to fly or fight against ya!

I'm started to wonder if you actually believe the B.S. you seem to always spew.  I guess you've spewed so much that you've gotten some in your eyes.

It is also obvious that you have little experience flying with the Bishops for any appreciable amount of time.  And flying for a few hours as a Bishop hardly counts.

The main reason why the 479th left Knitwitland is that we got sick of the "Win the War and bomb the tool sheds!" mentality that is rampant there.  There was only a few Knitwits that just wanted to fight and we looked forward to the days that guys from the BKs or AoM would switch to Knights because we could have someone to fly and fight with.

The "Win the War" mentality is not rampant on the Bishop side of the pond, otherwise the arm chair napoleans wouldn't be whining every night about how we're losing because we're furballing instead.  One of the largest Bishop squads left because they could never muster enough support to capture a base.

And from seeing how much time you spent doing attack sorties, sitting in GVs and flying bombers, one would think you're a one of the Tool Shed Warriors.

As for the Rookies...they only skilled ones on that side are the members of the BKs and what is left of the AoMs.  Then those guys rotate to other countries for brief tours, the talent pool on the Rookie side dries up.
