A Mexican government commission said Tuesday it will distribute at least 70,000 maps showing highways, rescue beacons and water tanks in the Arizona desert to curb the death toll among illegal border crossers.

So... did it occur to anybody else to print up just as many fake maps and have them distributed? Not that I'm advocating killing people... just running them in endless circles...

Where EVER did you get the idea that it is legal to shoot a trespasser?  The fact is, it is absolutely ILLEGAL to shoot a mere trespasser, unless you are reasonably in fear of death or grievous bodily harm to you or a person near you.

By the way, I agree that we need to secure the border, but please don't spread this kind of crap around.  Some poor schmuck might believe it's ok to shoot somebody in his farmyard, get arrested and convicted of murder due to this kind of irresponsible talk.

Not bad... way cheaper too. A couple boxes of .308 round, a slew of plastic drums, or even a crate full of laxatives. vs 100,000+ maps...

If you kill them, there's no way to determine that they weren't intending to do bodily harm.

I've had this conversation before here.  In Texas it is perfectly legal to shoot somone on your property at night who is trespassing.

Damn...I thought it was perfectly legal in Texas to shoot anyone who lived longer than 2 years in a Blue State.
