The next scenario: Der Grosse Schlag!

Any 190a-5, f-8, or a-8 pilots that enjoy flying the radial version of the FW should contact myself or husky01. We each have separate Fw190A-8 units (12 pilots each) and are looking for interested pilots to fill them.

We've got a date with the bombers, and we mustn't keep them waiting :t

Verdammt!

I screwed up on my "gear depression scale" markings on the gear doors, last time I put 'em on  a skin....

Landing gear just causes undesirable weight while flying.  Since I never have the need to actually Use them, I just eject them after launch.  Doesn't matter to me if the markings are wrong :D

Bah, that might work in your NORMAL choice of ride, but we're forced to lug our gear around, because belly landing or ditching in a 190A8 (even when safe and intact) will kill you and send you back to the tower seconds after you come to a rest.

You just don't know how to do it.

As one who doesn't even accept the existance of landing gear, I can get anything down in a belly landing :)

Try it. There's a game bug. You belly land in a 190A-8, you blow up (even if you're down safe). Just come to a stop and wait a few seconds and you're in the tower automatically.

It's been reported many times since the 190s were redone, and just recently I re-reported it (and others have agreed it's happening to them too).

Try belly landing THAT one :D :rofl :aok

Yes, I believe they will.

Flying for the Axis for the three (+1)  frames in Operation Husky was nothing short of fantastic and left me wanting more.  I was ready to continue fighting the allies as they tried to make their push into Italy!  :)

The amount of thought and effort going into Der Grosse Schlag leads me think that it is destined to eclipse my Operation Husky experience.

Have you been recruited yet, StuB?

That is to say, I don't see you on the forum access list, so I'm guessing not. What did you want to fly, again? Have you already made any arrangements with any of our squadron leaders on the axis team?
