Thanks Dan :)   I have that picture around here on CD still and the memory brings a big grin.  I've been reading the scenario forum tonight and I've decided to suit up in a 'Bolt for this one.  I just hope there's enough time between now and October to figure out the AH key commands again ;)

Absolutely Westy.

Let Hajo know, he's got the Jugs as does Dace

In fact I'll pass the word.

Well, any axis fliers that would love to throw some cannon shells at Dan and his P38 menaces while flying a G-14 should give me a shout.

I still have open slots for fun, drinking and some occasional swearing....and I guess we have to shoot some stuff down while we do that

It will be a great time had by all on both sides so make sure you reserve a spot early......preferably flying with me:D

Try belly landing THAT one :D :rofl :aok

My 190 must have been broken :)

It didn't blow up.

EVERY time I belly land it, it blows. Same for a bunch of other folks, as well.

Before you postd I planned to do some testing. I was wondering if it only happened online or offline. Which did you do yours? I will do some tests in a few moments and would like to know where you did yours.

I know from memory I've had it happen with the tail still attached, but the only way I can replicate it (repeatedly) is when I ditch hard enough to lose the tail. I got it on film both offline and online. Once I noticed it was happening with the tail gone, I pranged it to lose the tail on purpose and repeated it many times. I will post 2 films in the re-reported bug report I made recently.

If they were to be accurately modeled, they should blow up the minute you take them out of the hangar. :lol

But if HTC can't get to that, we will handle the modification for you in October! :D

It was online.  It was a couple months ago.  I rarely fly a 190 and promptly got shot to bits by 17 gunners and had to ditch the wreck :)

Again I must be clear that with my expertise at landing wrecked planes, it was no problem:aok

Westy is in the 56th.

Great to see Ken back.  However for some reason his wife thinks I am responsible for his comeback for the scenario.  I do hope Westy did not show her the PM I sent him asking if he would like to suit up with us.

Anyone know the 1-800 number to around the clock security?

Hajo

Westy great to have you back.  Think you and whels can wing?

I got Westy's Jug out of the back of the hanger.  It's older and a bit beat up but it will work :)

Guppy, I posted the films in the bugs forum. There's a bug, but how and when it kills you is not certain. It's more likely to do it if you lose the tail during ditch. It's also got some sort of random timer (sometimes 20 seconds, sometimes 10) before blowing you up. Crazy stuff.

I know I've had it happen to me before when I had the tail intact. I just know it!
