You're right - I'd love to visit Israel. I've met a lot of Israelis through work and had a number of planned trips there aborted at the last minute for one reason or another.

Morocco was 'interesting'. Spent 3 days in Casablanca with some friends. Lots of fun, but the potential to get yourself into trouble was huge :)

I was in Israel before, the only thing I can say is look out for the Arabs. Someone in my travel group had his wallet stolen when he pulled it out to buy an item the Arabs were selling. His passport, money, plane tickets, everything was in that wallet. Needless to say he wasn't too happy when he was looking for it that evening.

In that sense, Israel and Washington DC are pretty similar.

I've been to more than one place in Indiana, you can't drink the water as it comes out of the tap. It stains everything and smells like very putrid sulfer. :O

Clinton shouldve thought twice before he allowed to let them enter at massive rates.

I was thinking about Indiana once. I commented to a guy on the low housing prices, he said "Sure, you can buy a great house here, but when you go outside your in Indiana".

On the other hand, eyebrow wax and Armani sales are through the roof in the District as well as Montgomery and Fairfax counties.

Pepper spray is doing pretty well too, I hear.

Know why all the rivers in Michigan flow south?

Because Indiana sucks!:rofl

Just kidding, and that one can be used interchangeably for Ohio.

Lazs, something tells me you would like Colorado a lot.

Scotland.

I love the weather, the countryside, and the people. Of course I haven't been back there in 24 years. Still I fell in love with in from 1980 to 1983.

My God Shifty - you need help.

Scotland - my home country (some of you might have detected a slight hint of an accent on VOX :D ) - is a fantastic place with a rich history, stunning scenery and (for the most part) friendly people.

The weather truly, truly sucks though. In winter it rains all (and I mean all) the time. It is also dark 18 hours of the day. Its rarely cold enough to snow these days so you you just get wet. A lot. In summer it rains all (and I mean all) the time. In fact the only real difference between summer and winter is that in summer you get 18 hours of daylight to watch the rain fall. Temperatures rarely go over 20C / 68F. Factor in wind chill and your damp clothes and it feels cooler.

On the plus side, the cr@p weather is a perfect excuse to spend more time in the pub. Scotland leads the world in drinking - something we are very proud of  :D

My wife and I also find it hysterical that a slight drizzle in SoCal is referred to as a ''storm" and makes headline news. I nearly fell out my seat the first time I heard my fellow workers debating going home early because it had started to rain. :rofl

I'd pick Japan as half my family's heritage is from there (my mom's side).
Also Hyaku-yen sushi! :aok
