Why?  Because he's a new player and is flying a plane that is easy for him to fly?  Your ignorant comment is one of the reasons game play is going down the tubes, not Rusty's.

Once people like you pull your collective head out of your arses and stop thinking that such and such a plane is a 'dweeb ride' or belittling people for flying Spitfires or La7's that would help improve the game play, telling a player they are part of the problem for flying a Spitfire won't.

ack-ack

I've no problems with any Spit but the 16. And I'm sorry but I'm not the only person with the viewpoint that the Spixteen is a dweeb ride.

Well, quite many people also agree that the collision model is bugged or that tanks can shoot through hills...which doen't make it more true.  :D

Besides that, everytime I read complaints about dweeb rides, the more I feel the itch to fly them  :P

(after all those years I finally have picked up the Spit 16 for a lot of jumps this tour...nice plane, but I still die in it more than average in other planes)

Who cares? Who cares what he flys? Maybe when he becomes an AH Queen then he can vulch 30 planes on a runway in his 4 cannon perk Corsair. :rofl And then come here and brag how he only likes 20 eny + airplanes.  :rofl

Until then leave the noob to fly what he wants. Its his $16 a month.

I fly...

the LA5 when I need an excuse for why I can't hit anything further away than d100
the FM2 when I need an excuse for why all I can get are assists
the Spit 9 for when I need an excuse for the fact that my ACM consists of "make a hard left turn... repeat... repeat... repeat..."
the Zeke when I need an excuse for why I spend so much time on fire or without a left or right wing
the ME110G2 or IL2 when I need an excuse for stealing kills from the hardworking GVers. ;-)
the KI67 when I really need an excuse for flying while reading a book

I know you're not the only one but it still doesn't make it a correct statement.

Those that usually whine about the Spitfires, La7 or the like are the ones that usually get their arses handed back to them by those planes.  So like you, to ease the pain of being shot down by a Spitfire, they'll immediately brand it a "dweeb" plane so it doesn't hurt their ego so much.

I like the C-205, D-9, Bf-110, and B-24. I've tried most planes but those are the one that work best for my style.  :D

I love me the 38, especially the J. Always have. Always will.

It's big. It's mean. It looks like nothing else out there (the Black Widow doesn't count). It can do just about anything you want, and still get you home to a Guppy styled landing. :aok
Want to bust tanks? Check. Intercept Bombers / goons? Check. Bomb something? Check. Rocket some GVs? Check. Escort Bombers / goons? Check. Dogfight? Check. She can do it all. Good at everything, master of none.

I fly pretty much all of them, too many fun planes to limit myself.  Also, mastering (or attempting to master in my case lol) multiple planes allows you to learn lots of different skills.

I fly the:
f6f
f4u (all models)
p47 (d models)
109's (all but g6)
190a5
ta152 (new addition)
spit IX (sometimes)
Mossy (gotta love it)
p38's (oh yeah)
p40's
yak9t
n1k (my original dweeb ride)
a20 (for bomber dogfights)
D3a (hehe)

The list goes on....

Been flying the D9 and the FM2 a mo0re lately when I'm not uppin buffs.  Found the LA-7 to be a nice ride as well.  But still is nice to be able to get a few kills in the FM2 against the Spits that come around.  As with most everyone, loved the P-51 as a kid.  But, have grown to love many others since I got a little older.  Find the D9 to be one of the sexiest planes ever built.  The german engineering during WWII was amazing.

For me, i like to fly a few rides. But i dont have one particular ride, but i do have a top 5.

1. Spit16 (Dweeb16)- One of the most easiest planes to fly but also one of the most funnest as well

2. 190d- Mostly used for defense and medium range missions

3. N1ki5- Has to be "one" of most powerful gun package in this game, nuff said

4. Hawker(Hurri)- Mostly for quick air defense and tank killin.

5. Zeke - Only used off of CV for attacking and defending

All in all i like to fly almost all the planes/bombers. They each has its own style and are used for certain situations.

Your right ... there are quite a few more myopically ignorant people that play this game.

Now ... back on topic.

I fly whatever plane, at the time and circumstances, that will provide me the biggest "fun" bang for my buck.
