...and the gun is 128mm.

I remember it from "Squad Leader" (an old board game).

Oops, didnt look at the chassis close enough. Damn, I am stumped. Don't know without more research. Its not a Jagtiger, Jagpanther, or a Stug. Hmmm.

Found it: Its a Jadgpanzer IV/70(A) but I had to look it up.

"Jagdpanzer IV/70 (A) (Sd.Kfz.162/1) was the other PaK 42 L/70 armed Jagdpanzer IV. This differed in that its superstructure was mounted directly on the original Panzer IV chassis and as such lacked the sharp edged nose of the other variants. Only 278 were built during 1944 and 1945. The (A) stands for the builder, Alkett."

Wow! Is this thing still clinging to life? I encountered a variant I'd never seen, figured out it's a Jadgpanzer IV/70(A), posted it up for fun, dealt with Lusche (:D), and then watched the show.

Frankly I was surprised I wasn't inundated with Jadgtiger? posts, though the chassis, front plate, and smallish gun should set most guys straight. Thanks for the additional info Squire :aok. After reading your post, it became obvious this vehicle was a late war effort to field more vehicles as quickly as possible.

:salute to glock89. IMO this one took a bit of work.

Here's an easier one. This is obviously a Panther. But tell me what's so special about this Panther?
