I have the first 2 (2.5?) seasons on DVD.  I got as far as them finding the Pegasus.  I need to catch up.

You know, when these shows are out weekly, for some reason I have no interest or miss key episodes.  Then, a year or two later, I buy the collections and can't beleive what I missed out.  I didn't think much of Star Trek Voyager til I bought the DVDs or caught the daily re-runs on Spike TV.  Then I was disappointed it was all over!

CAP DUDE!!!

we had to have been friends in a former life!!

loved farscape! when they took it off the air i pretty much gave up on SciFi until BSG appeared!

i think it was the show that took space exploration scifi to newer levels of story telling and away from the we must save the world in every episode. it had the stink of the original star trec back without the over dramatic i must be a hero type of acting that was so predominant in the series.

LEXX and Farscape were really a fresh breeze in sci-fi tv. I used to love the original BSG as a kid and still love Star Trek - my favourite is TNG though. The original starts to be a bit dated in effects.

I almost refused to start watching the show because of my memories of the original and how bad it was.  Then one day they had a re-run marathon on HDNet and I caught a few episodes.  I determined that the show was bad bellybutton and soon downloaded the first season and caught up on the second season.  Its been my favorite TV show ever since.  I've since bought the DVDs for all 3 seasons and I hope they come out on Blu Ray some time soon.  I've even bought the Original Sound Tracks for each season and my World of Warcraft PvP video is set to BSG music (much better than the same 4 songs all other WoW videos the kiddies set them to).

I've got a pool going at work for who the 5th of the final five turns out to be.  From the info that's come out during this mid 4th season break, I have a feeling there's going to be no winner though.

My favorite episode is still 33, its strange that the first episode after the pilot was so well conceived and executed.  But the 4th episode in season 3 where they escape from New Caprica is my second favorite, and it just so happens to contain the best special effects sequence in the history of the small screen, imo.  A great, great episode.

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

you gotta be right. when they canceled farscape, i absolutely REFUSED to watch anything at all on scifi. then they did the peacekeeper wars, and i figured./...COOL!! they're bruinging it back. friggin jerks!! only teasin us. went back to not tuning scifi for any reason. then i heard about BSG. that won me back. loved the way they mixed some of the old with the new.
i only wish i were home more for it, as i've never been one to buy dvd;s.

Aeryn Sun would so kick her ass.

FarScape got canceled. Then immediately SciFi turned around and announced BSG because they wanted an "Edgy, sexy space-based drama." WHICH THEY HAD JUST KILLED.

So many stories they left unresolved. What happened to Sikozu and Grunshlk at the end of PK Wars? They made an awful big point of showing them together before the planet was destroyed by Crichton. What about the Nebari Resistance?

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Final cylon? I think there's a clue who it is in EVERY intro to the show.  Who's the character that survives a nuclear shockwave by hiding behind flesh and blood?  Who's the character that had a subconscious relationship with a cylon that forced him to do things in almost every episode of season 1 and 2?  Who's the character that has now built himself up into a religious figure?  Hmm.. I wonder who the final cylon is :)
