I don't know, I haven't the time to check all the boards. Whether he posts pictures is not the point of my posts. Perhaps he hasn't had the time, or perhaps he found your rudeness, condescending tone and unfriendly approach so off putting that he has left the game. I hope not, I just don’t know.
I want to be clear on this, what you refer to as your way of teaching, can hardly be called that from this example, your open contempt and lack of respect for the student shows you to be a petty man. I know now that I was wrong to think that you were better then this. That’s sad, perhaps you need time away from the boards to refocus.

Showing that the OP hasn't learned to read the rules of this forum, nor how to use the search function. I guess both of our methods have failed to help this young man.
My job has a lot of small bits of down time. With my phone I'm able to spend a lot of time reading the boards. I have read every post the OP has posted and have only posted in 3 of the 16 posts he has started,

Yes and as I have already stated, your original statement did not strike me as a teaching moment, but rather callus, petty and condescending. Just plain right unfriendly. As has been pointed out by others, this is the help portion of the forum, this is where people come for help. I think the OP would have been better served with a simple correct answer to his question, the teaching moment would be if you added the information about the “Search Function” alone with providing some help to a new community member. You know, people skills.
Answering the question the way you did, appeared to me as mean spirited.
What I find rather callus, petty and condescending is your continued attempt to berate me here on the boards for an answer YOU find unacceptable. While my answer may have seemed heavy handed it was meant as a teaching moment and advise. A lot of people learn by doing. Had the OP taken may advise and used the search function there by learning as doing, he not only would have found the answers he was looking for but would have learn how to use the search function in a way that even with it's seeming limitation can STILL be used effectively to find the answers available here on these boards.
The OP has proven he doesn't want help, just the answers on a silver platter. I prefer to help those willing to put in the time and effort. If they prove to not be willing to do so, then I am not going to waste my time in continually holding their hand. You as a teacher are paid to "continue", I am not.
