The Americans have an extensive truck classification system:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_classificationThe Toyota is a Class 1, the smallest class, up to 6,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. Just about every Japanese and Euro pickup truck will be in this class.
The F-150 is a Class 2, up to 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. In my country you wouldn't be able to drive this, the smallest Ford F-series truck, on a normal driving license. You'd need a truck/lorry license. Everything in America is bigger, it seems.
