A plane with a top speed of 366mph is not going to be perked higher than the B-29. I'd guess the P-61B would be between 3 and 10 perkpoints.  Enough to keep it from being over used, but not a prohibitive cost for an aircraft that will fail to return from most sorties in AH.

I'm not aware of any daylight kills of hostile aircraft by the P-61, though I confess I'm not as up to speed as some re: Pacific duties.

Not really, no.  It is a bunch of trade offs.  The Mossie is much faster and has twice the range on internal fuel.  The P-61B would be more agile and carries much more ordnance.  Not sure which climbs better.

For air-to-air at low alt I'd take a Mossie VI.  For air-to-air at high alt I'd take a Mossie 30.  For air-to-mud I'd take a P-61B.

- If the .50cal turret is included, three different stations basically should be modelled. That makes it very work intensive.

- Yeh, its American. It would further add to a planeset that is by far the biggest in the game already while the P-61 itself actually covers only fraction of a 1% of american fighter production during the war. Its a mere footnote compared to the likes of Pe-2 for example.

In my opinion the above facts are rational and good reasons not to add it any time soon. It definately has coolness factor to it, I was eleven or so when I stared a picture of one for a long time. After the bigger players are added, definately a cool plane to add.
